NOTIFICATION
Candidates possessing eligible qualifications as per AICTE and University norms are
called to submit applications for Temporary Full-time Faculty and Laboratory Teaching
Assistant for the academic year 2022-23 at Mysore University School of Engineering,
Mysuru.

 Department of Mathematics
Candidates should submit the application through online (website
www.soeuom.in) in the prescribed format available at University Website. The
process of recruitment will be through written examination followed by
interview. The applicants will be shortlisted for interview based on the
performance in the written examination in 1:5 ratios depending on the
requirement of the posts. All the Original Certificates of the candidates are to be
verified on the date of interview.

This is purely a temporary arrangement for the present academic year 2022-23. The
applicants must know that this assignment is not counted against any vacancies. Therefore,
the selected candidates cannot make any claim for absorption into regular service. Only those
candidates, who are agreeable to the above terms and conditions of appointment, which is
tenable only for the academic year 2022-23, can apply. The work carries honorarium as
detailed below.
1 Temporary Full-time Faculty with Ph.D for Engineering Rs.50,000/- per month
streams
(For 16 hours of teaching per week)
2 Temporary Full-time Faculty without Ph.D/ NET/ SLET Rs.35,000/- per month
(For 16 hours of teaching per week)
3 Laboratory Teaching Assistant Rs.15,000/- per month

QUALIFICATIONS Criteria:
1) For Engineering Stream

In relevant branch with minimum 1st class or equivalent either in BE/ B.Tech/
M.Tech/ MCA (before 2009). Preference will be given to the candidates who have
possessed Ph.D/ NET/ SLET.

2) For Science stream

Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% of marks. Preference will
be given to candidate who have possessed Ph.D/NET/SLET

3) Laboratory Teaching Assistant – Experience in industry with relevant discipline in

Bachelor of Engineering.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

 Separate applications are to be submitted for each subject, if
candidate is applying for more than one subject.
 No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
 Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.
The University reserves the right either to invite or not to invite Temporary Full-
time Faculty for any or all of the subjects notified.
