1. OBJECTIVE:-
The objective of the Ph.D. programme at Sanskriti University is to enable students to engage in
advanced studies in various disciplines fostering original and independent research in their areas of
specialization & integrate their professional education and experience in solving larger problems of society.
Scholars, working closely under the guidance of the Guides and senior faculty, are expected to develop their
abilities through course work / seminars / projects to have the breadth of knowledge, develop expertise to
have the depth of knowledge in their chosen areas of study, ability to identify research problems, to do the
actual research and ability to write, present and defend the results.

2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program shall have to possess:

Masters degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science / Business Administration/ Education/ Pharamacy or

relevant discipline with a minimum of 55 % marks (CGPA 5.5 on a 10 point scale) or equivalent from a
recognized University / Institution.

3. ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission shall be based on:
a) Satisfying the requirements ofminimum qualifications as laid downin clause 2.

b) Performance in Entrance Test & Interview.

c) Candidates are required to propose and discuss their research interest area.
d) The Universityreserves the right to limit the number of scholars to be admitted to the University at
anytime. This decision would be guided bythe available resources and otherfacilities.
f) The names ofthe selected candidates will bedisplayed on the website and intimated through e-
mails.

g) The selected students shall be allowed provisional registration after he / she has paid the fees
prescribed bythe University.
4. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

(a) On-Line:-
Candidates can fill the application form through the University’s web-site (www.sanskriti.edu.in)
by filling theapplication form online. All mandatorydetails are essential to be filled up.

The candidates will upload at the appropriate place a scanned copy of their photograph on the form.
Once the mandatory details are completed, the payment option will be activated for making online
payment of Rs. 1500 / - as application fees (non-refundable) & subsequent submission of the form.

(b) Off-Line:-
If a candidate wants to submit the application fees via offline mode, he/she needs to apply online
and send a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- payable to Sanskriti University at Mathura. The candidate
must mention the application number (that will be provided once the online application is submitted
bythe candidate) at the back of the Demand Draft.

The Demand Draft shall be sent to the Registrar, Sanskriti University, 28 K.M. Stone, Mathura –
Delhi Highway, Chhata, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, bypost or delivered byhand.

5. CATEGORY OF STUDENTS
The students can be registered as Full Time or on Part Time basis

I. A Full Time scholar has to attend the university regularly and will be subject to the
prescribed attendance rules of theUniversity.

II. Professionally employed personnel such as working engineers, scientists and teachers may be
allowed to pursue Ph.D. on part-time basis. Such candidates are required to submit a “No
Objection Certificate” from their parent organization / department /employer stating thathe/ she
is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis and that his / her duties permit him / her to
devote sufficient time for research.

6. MINIMUM & MAXIMUM DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME

The Programme duration shall be minimum three years including course work and a maximum of
6 years.

7. FEE:
Domestic Students:
Tuition Fee (Full Time): Rs. 75,000/- per annum
Tuition Fee (Part Time): Rs. 60,000/- per annum
Examination Fee : Rs. 10,000/- per annum

International Students:
Tuition Fee: $1100 per annum

8. REFUND OF FEE
No Fee shall be refunded, after commencement of the session.

9. All students willbe subject to the provisions of SANSKRITI University, Uttar Pradesh Act (20 of
2016), Statutes, ordinances & Regulations (as amended fromtime to time).
