Ice dancing

Even if I'm not a big fan of sports in general, I can say that the only sport I really
like watching is figure skating. A sport in which ice skaters, singly or in pairs,
perform freestyle movements of jumps, spins, lifts and footwork in a graceful
manner.

Although most people, including me, skate for recreation and exercise, skating
for form and speed is an extremely competitive international sport. The ability
to produce an aesthetically pleasing performance requires a high degree of
both athletic and technical skill. Figure skating has become one of the most
popular sports of the Winter Olympics. The world championships also held
every year and are an opportunity for me to enjoy watching this sport.

Figure skating competitions are a real show with music, specially chosen
costumes, choreography. It's a pleasure to watch them! But figure skating can
be defined as technical excellence in speed, while under pressure and fatigue.
And figure skaters are prone to injury risks all the time. Despite the hard work
and risks, skaters are not the best paid athletes. Competitions give prize money
only to the top 3 finishers, and only some countries invest in those who bring in
wins.

Figure skating is an innovative and ever-evolving sport that demands athletic,

technical and artistic excellence. And I'm sure you'll enjoy watching it!
