1. Rate of Return
a. With the assumption of 70 units manufactured in the first 2 years and having the total cost of
275,450 PHP. The rate of return for the proposed product’s total cost would 15% annually.
2. Return of Investment
a. The proposed product’s total material cost for its design and fabrication of 70 units will be around
275,450 PHP. The company will see their ROI of the first units sold within 7 years.
3. Breakeven Point
Assumptions:
Fixed cost per unit: 3,935 PHP
Total estimated fixed cost per annum (70 units): 275,450 PHP
Variable cost per unit: 500 PHP

Breakeven point in units = Fixed cost / (price – Variable cost)

Breakeven point = 275,450 PHP / (3935 PHP – 500 PHP)
Breakeven point = 80.19 units

a. As per our estimation, the cost for building one product will cost approximately 3,935 PHP. In
