Marie C. Coching, your student teacher in English.
And it’s an honor to be your teacher and to help
Ma’am Poras. And I also thank her for giving us the
chance to discuss her lesson and for guiding in
making our lesson plan.

Are you familiar with the word “Archaic”class?
Yes, Ma’am!
Okay, anyway we will discuss it later.

Are you familiar with the word ''selfie''? Did you

know that “Selfie” didn't become a word until the year
2013? How about ''Hashtag''? It became a word in
2009, and ''photobomb'' became a word in 2012.
 Just as there are constantly new words being
introduced to the English language, there are also
words that were once popular and are now rarely or (students answer may vary)
never used. These are known as archaic words. The
word ''archaic'' comes from a Greek word meaning
ancient or beginning. It is also known or most
commonly use in King James Bible and Shakespearean
English.

For more clear meaning of archaic words, I will

show you a table (refer to page 255).

So now, I will show you some examples of
verses or statements that use archaic words then I will
let you translate it from archaic words to contemporary
words or common use terms for it which can be found
in subjective, objective and possessive pronoun.

C. Application
Alright, after distinguishing archaic pronouns (students answer may vary)
lets proceed to an activity. And this will be done by
group. The groupings will be boys versus girls. So,
select 3 members from each group or team. Whatever
the result scores of the representatives will be the score
of the rest members.
I provide here several verses which came from
King James Bible. The representatives will find the
archaic pronoun then will rephrase or change the word
to contemporary word or present day English word.
They will write the answers on the board. I just
provide three verses per team in a paper. Write first the
given verse, and below the given verse will be the
answer.
