was worried about him. But finally, he joined and set sail on a big ship.

Years later, Malin Kundang became rich. He owns a ship and has a beautiful wife. The villagers knew
Malin Kundang. This news spread quickly in the city “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is
here.

Malin's mother ran to the beach to meet her son. He wanted to hug her, to let go of his sadness of living
alone after so long. Unfortunately when his mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his
beautiful wife refused to meet his mother. “Enough, old lady! I never had a mother like you, a dirty and
ugly person!” after he ordered his men to set sail immediately. He was about to leave his old mother
again but now he is too sad and angry.

Her mother was very heartbroken because Malin rebelled against her. Then, his mother cursed Malin to
turn into stone. Suddenly the big ship was tossed by a big storm, Malin realized that it was his mother's
fault who rebelled. Now he knelt down and turned to stone.
