Today’s session for mock parliamentary elections started with the political party
debates. The debate between Bharat ki awaaz party and Indian Liberal Socialist.
Where criticism was made about ILS manifesto. ‘ILS manifesto is shorter than a
board exam paper’, says Bharat ki awaaz party. Their economic policy was criticized.
In turn ILS gave clarifications on how their manifesto is powerful. They gave facts
and figures for opposing Bharat ki awaaz promises. The ideology of ILS was said to
be against privatization. Modernization and strength of police was talked about by
both the parties and increasing of employment of policemen was kept as an important
point. Even the second debate went heated which was between NDRF and NRC. All
the parties opposed each other by clarifying their manifestos and criticism the
opposition’s. the same case was between PIP and YOU. Both the parties were
energetically opposing each other. Meanwhile one of PIP’s cabinet member was
accused of misbehavior with a media person, which was resolved after it was found
out that the media member had asked irrelevant questions.

After the debates the press conferences were held where political parties efficiently
answered media questions. Overall the sessions went fruitful. Moreover the parties
campaigned in all the campuses and asked for votes. The polling will shorty start
which will decide that who was successful in convincing the public with their
manifestos.
