How did it
start/begin?
I wanted to volunteer to do some care work in
Intermountain Health Care, but I had to wait at
least 5 months, that’s what they told me. I try
my hardest to find any medical related things
to do for my Capstone, but I just couldn’t find
any, since it was a Covid Year. So basically,
what I want to do for my future is to go into
medical field and become a Family Physician
or an anesthesiologist.
I was tired of finding it, so I began searching
for some Homeless Shelter and Food Pantry,
and that's when I found Bountiful Food Pantry.
Bountiful Food Pantry?
▪ Provide food and personal hygiene to people in need
▪ Donators help Donate items to the Pantry and Bountiful Food
Pantry take them in a "market" to give to family's that are in need
What did I do?
So firstly, I volunteers to do some pantry
work for Bountiful Food Pantry, like stocking
food and giving food to the people who are
in needs. For a week I volunteer to stock
food early in the morning at 6am, and
around 9am we start to give the food to the
people. The people were so kind, and we
always told them to take extras.
What kind of
food do we
give away?
There are tons of type of food we
give away, we even give out
hygiene things away, such as
shampoo, toothbrush etc.
Food we give out – Bread, Cake,
Donuts, Vegetables, Meats, etc.
Something that surprise me is that
they even give out Baby Formula
and Covid testing kit away.

What did I do next?
When I finish with all the volunteering, I was
thinking that I did too little for my Capstone,
so I began to think of some ideas. It took me a
while but, the next day I had a great idea, and
the idea was to create a fundraiser for
bountiful food pantry. And so, I began to start
making flyers and printing them to put around
my neighborhood.

On September 24th we
started picking up all the donated
food in the neighborhoods.

Then I had to take all of the

donated food to Bountiful Food

I want to become something related to medical field and help people that are
in need.
Working with the Bountiful Food Pantry gave me idea what it is like talking
and meeting new people that are struggling with their life.
I hope that I can make the world a better and healthier place
