About The Authors
Rachael (30-years old at the time of writing this
book) is a vegan transition coach, author, vegan cook, and
vegan influencer. Her passion for fitness started at the age
of 7, when she started playing basketball in the streets. This
evolved into playing in middle school, high school, and all
throughout college. But her passion for health came right
after college graduation when she was presented the
opportunity to work with a nutrition company and become
a health coach – with a focus in helping countless clients
lose weight, tone up, and gain muscle. During those 6
years, she was exposed to the typical information that floats
around the health/fitness industry centered around needing
to consume a lot of protein each day in order to lose weight,
protein sources needing to come from meat, dairy, and soy-
filled protein shakes, etc. And although this information
helped her to see amazing physical results along with her
clients, she still felt that something was wrong with the way she was eating.
Unfortunately, she dealt with several health scares during that time –
which included anxiety/panic attacks, unexplained bumps/lumps that came
and went on different parts of the body, constantly being sick, weight
fluctuations, and dealing with low energy. It wasn’t until she watched a
documentary in 2017 called “What The Health,” that she finally got some
answers and decided to go vegan cold turkey. This only lasted for a few

months, due to a lack of knowledge and resources, so she ended up taking a
step back into vegetarianism and eventually to a pescatarian diet. During this
time, because she was consuming cheese, milk, and fish, she started to
experience some of the same health scares – which ultimately led her back
into the vegan lifestyle, but for good this time. It wasn’t until Rachael
completed her first fruit cleanse and taking herbs, with the guidance of
Mika’EL, that she was able to truly take her discipline and lifestyle to the
next level. This experience helped her to transition to a plant-based vegan
lifestyle – focused on mainly consuming fresh fruits and vegetables versus
vegan junk food and also the regular consumption of sea moss and other
herbs. These new habits led her to experiencing a body that finally worked at
its optimum level and also eventually getting back to her high-school weight.

She used her initial failure as inspiration to help others have a smooth
transition into a plant-based lifestyle and to bypass her mistakes by releasing
her first vegan cookbook in February 2021and her second book just 7 months

give up meat and dairy without sacrificing the flavor. She also wants to help
her community come to the light about the dangers of the food industry, the
pharmaceutical/medical industry, and to open their eyes to a different

Mika’EL is a wholistic herbalist, spiritual
teacher, motivational speaker, and communitive
cultural activist for the melanated man, woman, and
children of his community. Mika’el has been on a
self-search and study of who and where his people
originate from. Through his studies of ancient biblical
manuscripts and studies on metaphysics, he has been
able to truly grasp - not only where his people come
from, but has also come to a conclusion that can
be biblically, scientifically, geographically, and
historically proven of who the so-called black man
and woman are. Not just nationally, but also the
original diet of man. He has been on the path to wake
his people up on a spiritual, mental, and physical
level. Mikael’s mission is to promote and apply
family, tribal, and community upliftment and healing
and because of his work, he ended up winning Humanitarian of the year
(2021) in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mika’EL originally started his journey and career in health in
2014. After playing college football, living the college life, and
experiencing life after graduating, he found himself overweight at 274
lbs. Because of this, Mikael started to experience issues such as heavy
breathing, lack of energy, having issues with sleep, spiritual deficiency,
and an overall lack of love for self. Through his journey of internal and
external healing, Mikael found himself intrigued by the process of

losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. In the summer of 2015,
Mika’EL became a certified personal trainer and nutritionist through
ISSA and became active in the restoration of healing the body. Two
years later, he dove into true wholistic health from an African
perspective, where he started to study the research of Master Herbalist
Patrick Delves, International Master Herbalist Dr. Sebi, Master
Herbalist Dr. Laila Afrika and finally, coming under as a student in
2019 of International Wholistic Master Herbalist Yah’Ki Hickman of
Yahki Awakened Eye of Lotus Botanicals, LLC. He has been a huge
inspiration - not only in health, but also spiritually and mentally. Much

Why Should We Cleanse?
By now, you’ve probably either been exposed to the idea of
cleansing or have participated in various cleanses or detoxes in the past.
Either way, it’s extremely important for you to understand that regular
cleansing is essential to the longevity of our lives. More than likely, you
also live in a home that has at least one toilet. Could you imagine going
weeks, months, or even an entire year without cleaning it? More than
likely not. So why go months and years without doing a proper cleanse
and reset on the one home you have to live in for the rest of your life?
Our bodies do so much for us on a daily basis and, in our opinion, it’s
disrespectful to not take care of it. Think about all of the toxic foods
you’ve eaten, toxic air you’ve breathed in, toxic chemicals you’ve put on
your skin, etc. Your body can only take so much before it starts to react
in the form of disease. Let’s dive into this a little deeper.
As a reminder to our melanated brothers and sisters – we as a
people have yet to be fully awakened to the trauma, pain, suppression,
depression, and oppression that we have suffered to this day. And this
roots from the chattel slavery that we were forced into – which resulted
in being stripped from our organic lands, to being stripped from our
organic diet, to our organic language, to our organic spirituality, even
down to our organic way of life! All of this has been stripped away from
us and replaced with a stressful, complicated, and sick environment –
not fit for our mind, body, and soul.

In case you aren’t aware, the main purpose and function of a
sickness or disease is to destroy, decay, suffocate, and take your cells out
of their natural function, eventually leading to death. The same goes for
the environment of our mind, soul, and even your outer environment –
which is a reflection of your inward expression. In order for us to truly
cleanse properly, we must examine, accept, and seek out the root of why
we are internally and externally sick. We must also know what to
cleanse and like anything else, cleansing is a process that takes a strong
why, goals, transparency, vision, purpose and giving up things that you
enjoy, but are damaging to your temple. This is difficult for most,
because we have been programmed to put more value into materialistic
and perishable objects than the one vehicle that will always be with us
for the rest of our lives.
Most people pour more energy and focus into changing (cleansing)
the oil in their cars – which helps the car perform at its best and last
longer, than changing the food we eat to lively foods that actually help
us to live longer. We know the ins and outs of our cars, from the exterior
and interior to the tires and engine more than we know the exterior and
interior of our bodies. We as a community, for the sake of the
generations to come, must change our perception of health and the
narrative on how we should live. Our health has been dictated by
companies ran by the government like the FDA and the CDC – who see
more value in us being sick than us being healthy. These are the people
and companies that we’ve been brainwashed to believe have our best
interest at heart. It’s time to change the narrative family!

Once you find the root cause of your internal and external disease,
then you will be able to take the proper steps of healing yourself. A
question you should ask at this point is: ‘How do I properly cleanse my
body?’ The best thing man can do to seek this answer is to seek God and
to seek nature. Nature tells no lies. Nature teaches man how to live and
provides more wisdom than a classroom ever has. Unfortunately, most
teachers are programmed to teach us limited and targeted knowledge
that keeps us in the dark. An example in nature that we can look at is the
elephant vs. the lion. You’ll never see an elephant eating what a lion eats
and vice versa. The reason behind this is because both species have their
assigned and naturally given diets that fit the needs of their genetic
makeup. These same principles apply to hue-man beings. We have been
indoctrinated to believe that we are all the same people because we all
bleed “red,” but that could not be farther from the truth. Zebras bleed red
too, but does that make us the same? No. Just like animals have different
species, so do humans.
Humans have different organic and rooted geographical locations,
skull structures, different cell counts, different hues, different blood
types, and also different foods that should be eaten to live at an optimal
level. We have been lied to family! And if you’re wondering what all of
this has to do with cleansing the body, know that it has everything to do
with it. It has been proven through countless research that if a human
gets back to their original way of eating, based on their geographic and
genetic cellular structure, that they can rid their body of all diseases. But
in order to accomplish this, first one must know the makeup of the

species they come from. The Caucasian doesn’t have the same
geographic and genetic makeup as the Asian. The Asian doesn’t have
the same geographic and genetic makeup as the Arab. The Arab doesn’t
have the same geographic and genetic makeup as the African. And the
African doesn’t have the same geographic and genetic makeup as the
Mexican. We are not the same.
So, again, once a person knows where they originate from on a
cellular, psychological, and spiritual level, you have then taken the
proper first steps towards a true healthy lifestyle change. Culture is
(HEAL)th. Every species has certain minerals they need to be
consuming on a daily basis in order for your body to truly flourish in
homeostasis. For example: for Caucasians, the minerals needed are
silver and zinc, but for the African, it is iron phosphate and gold. If we
really think about this from a neutral standpoint – no emotions involved,
at the end of the day, here in America, Africans (African-Americans) are
taught about health from the ideology of Caucasians. That’s just the
plain truth. And if we think even deeper, we can look at how many of us
(Africans) have been plagued with a great deal of diseases and health
conditions, even though we’ve learned these ways to “live healthy.”
You probably grew up hearing about how drinking cow’s milk
would help you build strong bones. In high school or college –
especially if you were an athlete, you probably were taught about the
importance of taking in a high amount of protein per day and that the
best protein sources came from animals, chicken fetuses, and even soy.

You were probably also taught to take cough syrup when you have an
upper respiratory infection (aka a cold). Did you know that coughing is
an important reflex to rid excess mucus from your lungs and airway? So,
if you take medicine that suppresses your cough, you are now allowing
mucus to sit on your lungs – which increases the chances of the sickness
advancing to pneumonia or worse. Did you also know that consuming
cow’s milk, other dairy products like cheese, and soy are all directly
linked to the development of cancer? Did you know that consuming
meat contributes to the development of diabetes? What about how
consuming cow’s milk actually contributes to the onset of osteoporosis?
We could go on and on about this subject, but the main thing we want
you to take away from this is knowing that all human-beings aren’t
made equal. In order to advance, we need to go though an unlearning
and relearning process. We have to cleanse our bodies from a (die)-t that
was created to do more harm than good; that was created to keep you
spiritually, psychologically, and physically sick. To cleanse your temple
is to find freedom; to find freedom is to find peace; to find peace is to
find a oneness within the lifestyle of holistic health. Eat to cleanse and
cleanse to live! Cleanse the mind and the body will follow.

Suggested Cleanses (Intro):
In this book we will be recommending 6 specific and very
effective ways to cleanse the body. It is very important to inner stand the
cleanse you will be choosing to partake in, the purpose behind the
cleanse, and what you may endure while going through the cleanse. Let
us be the first to tell you, we don’t deal with pharmaceutical theology or
medical suppressive therapy. The biggest problem with
the pharmaceutical companies is that they believe suppressive therapy is
the key to all healing but they are more wrong than two left feet.
Suppressive therapy is the doctors’ highly suggested synthetic medicine
that suppresses the body’s defense mechanism - which they have labeled
as the sickness, but not the sickness itself. Here is an example of
suppressive therapy: you go to the doctor because you have a fever, but
what are the symptoms of a fever? Higher than normal body
temperatures, hot and cold flashes, chills, low energy, and excessive
sweating. Doctors call this a fever, but they are wrong. What you are
actually experiencing is something that Dr. Laila Afrika would call a
Healing Crisis.
A Healing Crisis is what they would call symptoms of sickness,
but it is really your body having a mucous membrane response to
healing itself. When your mucous membrane senses an invader within
the body trying to weaken and destroy the body’s systems, it sends out

mucus to cool the body down and to destroy the sickness. The result of
this is an increase in body temperature, because it is necessary for
sweating and burning out the sickness. So, when a doctor “treats” a fever
– they are focused on suppressing the body’s natural defense mechanism
rather than the sickness itself. This is exactly why there is such a
massive amount of disease and sickness floating through our
community. Pharmaceutical companies aren’t fixing the problem.
Instead, they are adding to the problem by suppressing the very bodily
functions that help our bodies to heal.
Now that we have been exposed to this realization, we have to take
it upon ourselves to learn how to heal the body in the most natural way
possible. One reference we like to use is Genesis 1:29 where it states
that GOD gave mankind every herb bearing seed and every tree which
bears FRUIT yielding seed which shall be food for us. Whether you
believe in the Bible, religion, science or just spirituality, this scripture
alone holds true to the nature of the human genetic makeup. Through our
personal experience, testimonies, and trials, we saw that once we get our
people off meats, dairy, starch, bread, and rice true healing started to
happen at a rapid pace. Instead of suppressing symptoms, we have
clients who are completely ridding the body of diseases. And this starts
with being put on very specific cleanses that are featured in this book.

Suggested Herbs:
Elderberry (also known as Sambucus Nigra From Europe) is anti-inflammatory,
antiviral, anticancer, and has anti-influenza
properties. As you can see by its beautiful and
powerful color, this herb carries a lot of carbon.
Elderberry can be used to rid the body of colds, flu,
allergies, and can also be used to remove mucus
from the respiratory system. Studies show that it has
also been proven to bind and remove the H1n1 virus
to stop it from entering cells. So all in all, this is a
very powerful herb to strengthen the immune
system.

Ingredients:
◦ 1 cup of dried elderberry
◦ 2 cups of distilled or spring water
◦ pure maple syrup/date syrup OPTIONAL
Instructions:
1. Add the fresh herbs and water to a pot.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the liquid has reduced
by half. This should take about 40-45 minutes.
3. Once liquid has cooled, pour liquid into a glass jar (but use a strainer to catch
dried elderberries and use a spoon to extract any excess juice)
4. Add pure maple syrup or date syrup (optional)
*All used herbs can be stored in a mason jar and refrigerator after use and can be used up
to four times before disposing back into the earth.

Guaco Bark, from Northeast Africa, is primarily
used to treat the upper respiratory system, dealing
with issues such as asthma, bronchitis, colds, and
flu. It can also be used to cleanse the blood and
improve digestion. Additionally, it has been
shown to help promote weight loss and help
eliminate toxins, bacteria, and anything else that
increases inflammation. It is an anti-
inflammatory agent for rheumatoid arthritis and
acts as an antibacterial for Candida and yeast
infections.

Ingredients:
◦ 2 to 3 pieces of Guaco Bark (or two tablespoons fresh leaves)
◦ 12 ounces of distilled or spring water
◦ pure maple syrup/date syrup OPTIONAL

Instructions:
1. Add the fresh herbs and water to a pot.
2. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
3. Once done, strain herbs into a cup/jar and add pure maple syrup or date syrup
(optional) *This can be used up to 3 times daily

*All used herbs can be stored in a mason jar and refrigerator after use and can be used up
to four times before disposing back into the earth.

Burdock Root is a plant that can be located
in Africa, Asia, and Europe. The root, leaf,
and seed purifies the blood from heavy
metals and promotes a balanced blood
circulation. It can also be used to improve
and treat skin conditions such as eczema,
acne, and psoriasis. Burdock has been
proven to strengthen and detox the
lymphatic system, is a natural diuretic used to promote urination to stimulate and
repair the kidneys, helps to restore liver function, and reduce inflammation.

Ingredients:
◦ 1 teaspoon of Burdock Root
◦ 12 ounces of distilled or spring water
◦ pure maple syrup/date syrup OPTIONAL

Instructions:
1. Add the fresh herbs and water to a pot.
2. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
3. Once done, strain the herbs into a cup/jar and add pure maple syrup or date

Hydrangea Root is located in West Africa,
and this plant’s native roots are Asia and
America. The leaves and root are used as an
anti-inflammatory, and it is also anti-
parasitic, antiseptic, and lithotrophic.
Hydrangea helps dissolve calcium deposits
in soft tissues and is very powerful in
treating kidney and bladder stones.
Additionally, it helps to clean the lymphatic system, is used as a diuretic to
help cleanse the prostate, and helps with backaches.

Ingredients:
◦ 1 teaspoon of hydrangea bark
◦ 16 ounces of distilled or spring water

Rachael’s Favorite Herb Mix:

With everything going on in


the world with different
sicknesses and viruses going
around, I make this herbal tea
blend pretty much every
morning for me and my
husband to keep our immune
systems strong. It contains:
- 1 tsp elderberry
- 1 tbsp lemongrass
- 2 tbsp ginger (freshly chopped)
- 1 tbsp turmeric (freshly chopped)
- 1 soursop leaf (I add this every other day)
To make, simply add these ingredients with about 2 cups of spring water
to a pot. Bring to a boil, then turn down the hit and allow to simmer for
about 20 minutes. Once done, use a strainer to pour the tea into a teacup
or mason jar. I like to add fresh key lime juice and also a little date syrup
or pure maple syrup (both alkaline sweeteners).

What You’ll Need:

1. Blender – you will be making smoothies regularly, so


make sure you have a good blender that is able to blend
frozen fruit, has to-go containers, etc.
2. Juicer – you will also be making juices, so if you don’t
already have one, please invest in a juicer that extracts
juice from fruits pretty well (decent quality juicers usually
start around $50-$60).
3. Juice Containers – you can purchase glass (preferred) or
plastic juice containers on Amazon and this will be used
so you can prep your juices ahead of time.

How To Clean Produce:


Unfortunately, most fruits in the U.S. contain pesticides (which are used by
farmers to keep pests away from their crops). To decrease your chances of
ingesting these harmful chemicals, it’s important to know how to properly clean
your produce before consumption. On the next page are two different methods you
can use to clean your produce.

Method 1:
Add water and white vinegar to your sink or a big bowl (for every 3 parts water
use 1 part vinegar). For example, if you use 3 cups of water, use 1 cup of vinegar.
Soak your produce for 15-30 minutes, then rinse and place in a clean bowl.

Method 2:
Add 5 cups of water + 4 tbsp of baking soda to a big bowl. Soak produce for 15
minutes, then rinse and transfer to a clean bowl.

How To Pick Fruits:
Since the majority of the cleanses deal with fresh fruit, we thought it would be
helpful to add a section on how to pick certain fruits. We want to help you avoid
having to deal with picking bad produce due to lack of knowledge or buying it
from the wrong places.
General Rules to Follow:
1. Avoid damaged or bruised fruit and also check to make sure there isn’t any
mold present.
2. Choose fruits and vegetables that aren’t too hard or too soft. They should
have a little give to them – except apples.
3. Try to go for the smaller fruits because they are usually sweeter.
4. Pick pieces of fruit/vegetables that are vibrant in color.
5. If produce is cut or sliced, make sure it’s sitting in a chilled setting before
purchasing.
6. Produce that is already pre-packaged or cut is usually more expensive than
single unit produce. So, take this into consideration with your budget.
7. Always rinse/clean produce before consumption!

Avocados
Avoid picking out bruised avocados and go for the
rounder options. Also, make sure to give each one a
light squeeze – you’ll want to choose the ones that
have a little give to them, but not too much. Now as
you may know, with avocados, you have a very
small window of time to consume them at their peak. An avocado that is ready to
go right then and there is usually dark in color and has a little give to it after a light
squeeze. So, if you are buying a few for the week, take that into consideration by
grabbing some that are dark and also some that are lighter green, because they will
ripen a day or two after purchasing. *If your avocados turn dark but you want them
to last a little longer, immediately throw them in the refrigerator and consume
within the next 2-3 days. After trial and error and wasting so many avocados, this
is the system that has worked perfectly for me.

Watermelon
The secret to picking out a good watermelon is in the field spot. As you can see in
the picture to the right, make sure to choose the one with a bright/golden yellow
field spot to indicate ripeness. The tail on the side should also be dried up. Also, go
for seeded watermelon as much as possible.

Cantaloupe
When choosing cantaloupe, first check the outside to make
sure there aren’t any cracks, mold, or soft spots. Pick one that
is a light-beige color, is heavy, smells sweet, and has a little
give to it after squeezing. Also, put it next to your ear and tap
it to make sure it sounds hollow. If everything checks out, go ahead and add it to
your cart.

Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries


Honestly, the biggest thing when it comes to picking
berries is to make sure that there isn’t any mold present
(look at all angles to be sure). Choose berries that are
bright in color and also firm, but not too hard or
mushy.

Pineapple
When choosing the right pineapple, honestly, it’s easier to buy one that has already
been cored, but it can also be a little pricier. If you decide to buy one whole,
though, make sure it is golden yellow on the outside, that
the bottom smells sweet, the leaves should come off
somewhat easily if you pull it, and after a gentle squeeze it
should have a little give – but not too much. Also watch out
for soft spots and mold.

Mangoes
One of the most important things to check for when
choosing the perfect mango is how hard or soft it is. Try
to avoid buying hard mangoes because they take a lot
longer to ripen. Instead, go for the ones that have some
give when you squeeze them – the softer the better, but
not too soft if you catch my drift. Some like to say that mangoes with more of a red
color are sweeter, but I’ve had green mangoes that were very sweet as long as it
was soft and didn’t have any mold. When you peel the mango it should also have a
dark, vibrant yellow color as well.

Honeydew
When choosing honeydew melon, you want to go for the ones with a yellow color
on the outside and slight give to it. If the melon is ripe, it will also smell fragrant
and sweet. Another thing to take note of is applying pressure to
the blossom end of the fruit (opposite of the stem) to see if it
has give to it. If all of these characteristics line up, then you
have picked out a great melon.

Life After A Cleanse:
The point of a cleanse is to reset your body and also to get rid of
dangerous toxins that have built up within your body. So, what you do
after a cleanse is very important. Most people think that it’s ok to
immediately go back to the way they were eating before, but if you
really think about it, that doesn’t make sense logically. The reason you
wanted to do a cleanse in the first place was more than likely because
you felt like your body needed a detox. Most of what we need to detox
comes from the foods we’ve been eating, so going back to how you ate
before actually defeats the purpose of cleansing in the first place.
We recommend that you do some sort of cleanse every 3 months
(quarterly) and also that you try your best to eat as clean as possible for
as long as possible in between cleanses. You should also have a goal to
eat clean for a longer period of time in between each cleanse. Eating
clean to us means to mainly consume fruits and vegetables with vegan

At first glance, a 7-day fruit cleanse may sound pretty easy and
simple to accomplish, but we assure you – it isn’t. Eating fruit for 7 days
straight is actually one of the hardest things to complete, especially if
this is your first time doing so. But the results are definitely worth it and
this is exactly why we offer group support to assist with accountability.
Additionally, there are specific directions that need to be followed in
order to reap the full benefits of what this type of cleanse has to offer –
so pay attention closely to the directions that follow.
Before we go further, it’s important to know that fruit is the most
electrical, high vibrational and balanced food you can eat. There is also
no need to be concerned about the sugar content in fruit because the
body has a completely different response to fruit sugar versus processed
sugar. To be honest, most doctors won't suggest this cleanse because if
you totally heal your body, how else will they continue to get paid?! The
pharmaceutical companies were created to thrive off your sickness. We,
on the other hand, thrive to heal you so our community can thrive, grow
and be great again. This specific cleanse consists of astringent fruits,
antioxidant fruits and - what we like to call “rebuilding fruit”
(phytonutrients). All fruits suggested are also alkaline and have been
proven to bring the body back to total homeostasis.

The previous list was inspired by Master Herbalist Yah’ki
Hickman. The purpose of this highly suggested and alkaline list of fruits
(fructose) are to assist, reboot and get the body back in line to function
as it should so it can properly purge, cleanse, rebuild and restore the god
body that GOD has given you. Man wasn't meant to be sick and die an
early death. Man was meant to live a long, fulfilled life and to be an
example of GOD within - but just like the ancient temple of our
ancestors, GOD could not dwell in a temple that was unclean and sick.
GOD could only dwell in a temple that was clean, set apart and free
from sickness and if we are the body(temple) of GOD, then we too must
also be clean, set apart and free from sickness. These specific fruits will
rid the body of parasites, heavy metals, toxins, dead cells, plaque, and
fungi with the assistance of some strong and powerful alkaline herbs –
which were mentioned earlier. It is highly recommended to do this
cleanse 7-days (minimum) up to 30 days, BUT if you have a chronic
disease go as long as needed until your body is healed.
Directions for Cleanse:
Like with anything, proper preparation is key to a successful
experience. With this cleanse, you can eat as much fruit as you need
within a day, while drinking at least one gallon of spring water to help
flush out the toxins. At the end of this section are two meal plan
options you will be able to utilize during your cleanse. We recommend

for you to briefly study the 3 categories of fruits, because it’s very
important for you to not mix certain fruits in any given meal, as all are
not compatible with one another. This list should also be referenced in
your regular eating outside of this cleanse, because each category plays a
specific role in healing the body. The three categories are as follows:
Astringent Fruits, Antioxidant Fruits, and Phytonutrients (Rebuilding
Fruits).
The purpose and focus of Astringent Fruits are to flush the body
of toxins – especially in the gut. Their job is to pull on toxins, while also
ridding the body of parasites and cleansing the lymphatic system. The
two most powerful fruits in this category are grapes and grapefruit – so
don’t be shy when eating them. The purpose of Antioxidant Fruits are
to help oxygenate the cells, regenerate, bring light energy to the cells,
and to keep the blood balanced. The last category, Phytonutrients
(Rebuilding Fruits), help to alkalize the body, restores your cells, and
brings total balance to the body. So again, please remember to not eat
fruits from different categories at the same time, because it can disrupt
your healing and cause bad chemistry within the body.
Here’s an example - let’s say our first meal of the day is at
12:00PM (based upon the body’s circadian rhythm) and I would like to
eat watermelon. It would not be wise of me to eat watermelon along
with pineapple or grapefruit, because one hydrates and brings balance to

the body, while the other pulls and tugs on certain areas in the body to
detox. This is bad chemistry. If I want to eat more than one fruit at a
time, though, it needs to come from the same category. For example, I
can make a fruit platter for lunch that includes mangoes, grapes,
pineapple, and apples because all fruits are from the Astringents
category. The same applies for the antioxidant fruits. You should not eat
fruits from this category with any other category. It is very important
to, not only understand the chemistry of your body, but also the
chemistry of the food you eat. This will make a huge difference in how
your body heals and stays balanced.

Rules/Tips for Cleanse:
1. DO NOT exercise during cleanse! The lactic acid buildup can
interfere with the cleanse itself, so please refrain from doing so. If
you work out religiously, utilize this time to give your body a
break. Trust me, you will come back stronger.
2. DO NOT consume any caffeine during cleanse.
3. The only liquids you are allowed to drink are spring water, herbal
tea, smoothies, and fresh pressed juices (within guidelines).
4. You can only consume fruits on the list provided.
5. There is no limit on how much fruit you can eat or how many
times you can eat per day. Eat what you need or follow the meal
plan provided.
6. Get the most out of your cleanse by taking sea moss daily and
recommended herbs (mentioned previously).
7. The first 3 days are the hardest, but it’s all mental. Think back to
your why and push through.
8. Let family and friends know that you are cleansing so they don’t
tempt you with outside foods.
9. You will most likely experience some detox symptoms during this
cleanse (usually mild symptoms). Please refer to the following list
of symptoms to get an idea of what to expect. Also, understand that
this cleanse will be detoxing your organs, so the more symptoms
you experience, the more your body needed to detox.

How To Properly End Cleanse:
When coming off of the cleanse it is VERY IMPORTANT to make sure
you don’t immediately go back to your regular eating. This can cause
unenjoyable digestive issues.
For example:
Day 1 after cleanse – eat mainly fruit, but have 1 meal that contains raw
vegetables, like a salad (no beans).
Day 2 after cleanse – still eat mainly fruit, but have 1 cooked meal that
contains only vegetables (for example: collard greens and mashed sweet
potatoes).
Day 3 after cleanse – you should be in the clear, but please try your best
to eat as clean as possible for as long as possible. Going right back to
eating foods that cause excess mucus and inflammation in the body will
defeat the purpose of doing the cleanse in the first place. Also, try to
implement in 3-4 servings of fruit daily.

The next suggested cleanse is an All-Watermelon Cleanse. The
watermelon carries more amino acid structures than any other fruit in the
world and - besides the papaya, is also one of the oldest fruits in the
world. Each watermelon carries over 500 seeds - which equates to 500
watermelon plants within one watermelon. This could feed an entire
town! The watermelon also carries vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, an
abundance of lycopene, antioxidants, amino acids, and also contains
potassium - which helps to strengthen the bones. Watermelon is not only
great for hydrating the body but also aids with blood flow, lowering
blood pressure, cleansing the skin (which gives it a beautiful glow), and
the lycopene content helps with balancing your heart. Watermelon is
also very powerful in removing inflammation - especially from the
joints, making it very beneficial for those who suffer from arthritis.
Aiding with eye health is also on the list of benefits along with it being
92% full of H3O2 – which helps to cool the body down and to hydrate
quickly.
It’s important to understand that when you’re dealing
with sickness, dis-ease and illness in the body, you are dealing with
either “Acid” or “Acidosis.” There are two sides to chemistry; Alkaline
and Acid. So, when you are dealing with illness, you are living on the
radical acid side which represents fire, burning and in(flame)d.
Alkalinity, on the other hand, is the cooling side of chemistry like water

7-Day Raw Cleanse

The next cleanse we will be discussing is one of the most popular
forms of cleansing - due to the late, great, and legendary master
herbalist Dr. Sebi. In his teachings, he highly suggested a diet that
consisted of raw fruits and vegetables. Most people don't know that
vegetables are actually herbs. The reason why some vegetables aren’t
labeled as herbs is because they aren’t as astringent as the plants, roots,
leaves, buds, and flowers that possess the label. This mucus-releasing
cleanse is very powerful, because you will be consuming vegetables and
fruits in their most pure form – without cooking and killing the
constituents within the vegetables. Like a lot of other things, we have
been taught wrong on how to properly consume our food and, due to
addiction and programming, it is extremely hard for people to enjoy
foods how we were created and intended to eat them. Unfortunately, we
have been taught the barbaric way of putting everything to the fire - not
knowing that you are actually removing the “soul” purpose of what the
fruit or vegetable provides for the body. We have been taught to eat
food for taste and not for health. It’s time to change that.
A raw food lifestyle has healed so many people, including Dr. Sebi,
who healed himself naturally from asthma, diabetes, erectile
dysfunction, and eye health issues. A raw food lifestyle has healed all
cancers, high blood pressure, brain fog, thyroid issues, weight loss
issues, Crohn’s disease, liver disease, heart disease, leaky gut and more.
The pure purpose of this cleanse is to remove the toxins, heavy metals
and even the excess mucus that has been pushed throughout the body.

Directions for 7-Day Raw Cleanse


This is a 7-day cleanse at minimum, but feel free to go longer to 14
or even 21-days. Although this cleanse seems pretty easy to accomplish,
it can be hard for some who aren’t used to eating meals that aren’t
cooked. Getting through this type of cleanse will be more mentally-
challenging than anything – which is why we offer access to our private
cleanse group to provide a supportive environment and extra
accountability. We have a 7-day detailed meal plan for you to follow on
the upcoming pages and everything was placed strategically, so try to
follow it to the best of your ability. This meal plan also includes recipes
for you to utilize as well.

Important Tips To Keep in Mind:
- Try your best to shop at a local farmer’s market or buy organic if
possible.
- Only buy fruits that have seeds – for example DO NOT buy
watermelons or grapes that are seedless.
- If you see something on the meal plan that you’re allergic to,

- Consume a gallon of spring water daily to help flush out toxins.

red onion (chopped)

Directions:
1. Rinse and drain mushrooms, then in a food processor add the
mushrooms, cumin, basil, oregano, cayenne pepper, onion powder
and sea salt. Pulse a few times, but not too much.
2. Lay out 3-4 lettuce boats on a plate, then add the mushroom mix,
chopped tomatoes, chopped yellow pepper, chopped red onion,
avocado, and squeeze lime juice over top.
3. Serve immediately.

7-Day Alkaline
Juice Cleanse

The next type of cleanse we’ll be discussing is a 7-day (or more)
All-Alkaline Juice Cleanse. This specific cleanse comes highly
recommended, because it promotes even quicker results for healing. The
previous cleanses we’ve discussed so far all include solid foods – which
means the body must go through metabolic processing in order to break
the food down. In doing so, this burns up some of the vitamins and
minerals before they get a chance to hit your blood stream. On the other
hand, with consuming the fruits in juice form, the vitamins and minerals
are able to go straight into the bloodstream – which means you’ll be
absorbing 97% of the nutrients. Another reason why juicing is so
beneficial is because it almost immediately resets your body – making it
an environment that is conducive for healing. Juicing also reactivates
your kidneys, liver, and gallbladder – which results in a quicker removal
of metabolic waste within the body. It also increases energy levels and
rebuilds and restores your body’s defense system, also known as, your
immune system. In these days and times, we all know how important
having a strong immune system is. This is by far the most effective
cleanse when it comes to healing the body.

Directions for cleanse:


We recommend doing this cleanse for a minimum of 7 days up to 14
days. It’s very important to make sure you are also drinking a gallon of
spring water each day to help flush out toxins. Next, you will see a 7-
day meal plan to follow (if you would like more structure), or you have
the option to make your own juice combinations – according to the fruit

categories seen below. It is recommended to drink 6-8 cups a day (16
ounces per juice).

Directions for Juicing:
When juicing, the goal is to get about 16 oz of juice per serving, so be
sure to buy enough fruit in advance. Measurements for the quantity of
fruits will vary because all fruits come in different sizes, but as you
begin to juice more, you will have a better judgement of what is needed
per serving. In the meal plan provided, all you have to do is look at
which fruits are listed at designated times, clean the fruits, and juice
them. For example, if my first juice on Monday is an orange peach
mango juice, then I will grab an even amount each fruit and juice
enough to make about 16 oz of fresh juice.

Tips:

1. Pick a few days that you set aside time to juice ahead.
2. You can store your juices in mason jars or some sort of container
with a lid in the refrigerator
3. Consume your juices within 3 days of making them.
4. For extra organization, you can label the juices as well.

3-Day Water Fast

A water fast is basically a period of time where a person doesn’t
eat any food, but only drinks water. It is recommended to do this for 24
hours up to 3 days maximum to avoid unnecessary complications. When
we fast, we give our digestive system a break from having to use energy
to breakdown food. So, when we do this, our bodies can utilize that
energy to actually go and heal anything that may be going on. Water
fasting can lower blood pressure, help with weight loss, heart disease,
lower cholesterol, aid with diabetes, help to fight cancer, etc. In the next
section, we break down other ways to fast that are less intense.
To complete this water fast, we don’t recommend jumping right
into it. Instead, you will see in the chart breakdown, that the first day
you have a water meal at 8pm, then the next day you start your water
meals at 6pm, up to day 4 where your water meals start at 2pm. The next
3 consecutive days will only consist of water. But once you complete the
fast, please DO NOT jump right back into your regular eating. This can
actually disturb your digestive system! What you want to do is slowly
introduce foods back into your diet. For example, day 1 after the cleanse
drink water most of the day and have a fresh fruit juice in the evening.
The next day drink water for the first half of the day, have a fresh juice
in the afternoon, and eat whole fruit in the evening. The next day, eat
fresh fruit in the afternoon and eat a raw veggie meal in the evening.

After this, you should have the ok to start introducing cooked vegetables
into your diet.

3-Day Dry Fast

Dry fasting is when you restrict both foods and liquids (including
tea, broth, or water). This is different than other fasts – which encourage
the consumption of water and is also why it can be dangerous. Going
consecutive days without drinking water increases your risk for
dehydration and other problems, but there are also a lot of benefits that
comes from it. When you complete 3 full days of dry fasting, you fully
reset your immune system – which is done by replacing damaged cells
with new cells. A lot of people aren’t aware, but this is a very effective
way to reverse disease and health conditions. This type of fasting can
also reduce inflammation and even has benefits on a spiritual level –
increasing your level of gratitude, discipline, becoming more aware, etc.
Since dry fasting is a more intense way to fast, we highly
recommend that you don’t just jump right into it. Before partaking in
this type of fast, you should have successfully completed the cleanses
that were discussed previously, and it is recommended that you are
already in the practice of taking herbs and eating a plant-based diet. Now
there are a few ways you can go about fasting in general. You can do
intermittent fasting (only eating within an 8-hour window each day),
alternate day fasting (when you fast every other day), eat-stop-eat
(when you fast for 24 hours once or twice a week), or periodic fasting
(when you restrict food/water for a set number of days).

For this specific fast, we will recommending a 3-day dry fast that
is done over a 7-day period to slowly break you in. The chart on the next
page shows you the overall breakdown for the week. On the first day,
you stop consuming food/water at 8pm, then the next day it starts at
6pm, up until day 4 when you stop consuming food/water starting at
2pm. The next 3 days after this are all a complete dry fast. What’s very
important is what comes next, because you DO NOT want to
immediately go back to your regular eating. From here you will go
backwards. So, for example, on the first day after your fast is complete,
you can start back drinking water, but drink a fresh juice in the evening.
Then the next day, start the day with drinking water, have a fresh juice
in the afternoon, and eat fresh fruit in the evening. The next day, start
your day with drinking water, eat fruit in the afternoon, then eat a raw
vegetable meal in the evening. By the time you get to the 4 th day after
the cleanse, you should be ok to slowly start introducing cooked foods
back into your diet.
Helpful Tips:
1. Plan your dry fast at a time when your body doesn’t require too
much energy (and definitely make sure you aren’t working out
during this time as well).
2. Join a group of people who are doing the fast for extra support.
