1. The submerged sector gate with a 6m radius is shown. Calculate the resultant hydrostatic force and
its location from point O if the length of the gate is 12m.
2. Calculate the hydrostatic horizontal, vertical and resultant force of the quarter circle shown with a
width equal to 3.5m.

3. Determine the total hydrostatic force acting on the roof of the tunnel with a semicircular shape.

4. Calculate the hydrostatic forces Fx1, Fx2, Fy1 and Fy2 in the figure shown. Length= 2m.

5. A cylindrical gate shown has a length equal to 4m. The cylinder weighs 196kN. Determine the vertical
