पु ानं गते भानौ नीचे म ांशक ते

पा योः ू रस े िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
If Debilitated Sun is placed in 5th
house and is in the Navamsha of Saturn
and both are hemmed between malefic
planets, there will be destruction of
children due to the curse of
ancestors.(Sun should be of 10º-00’ to
16º -40’)

पु ाना धपे भानौ ि कोणे पापसं युते।

कू रा रे पाप े िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
If Sun as the 5th Lord is placed in
a Trikona along with a malefic planet
and is also hemmed with and
aspected by malefic planets, there
will be destruction of children due to
the curse of ancestors.

भानुरा श ते जीवे पु ेशे भानुसंयुते।

पु े ल े पापयुते िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
If Jupiter is placed in Leo Sign,
5th Lord is conjunct with Sun and
there are malefic planets in Lagna
and 5th house, the curse of
ancestors brings deprivation of
children.

ल ेशे दुबले पु े पु ेशे भानुसंयुते।

पु े ल े पापयुते िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
If weak Lagna Lord is placed in
5th house, 5th Lord is conjunct with
Sun and Malefic planets are placed in
the Lagna and the 5th house, it will
result in childlessness due to the
curse of ancestors.

If 10th Lord in 5th house or 5th Lord in
10th house, and malefic planets are
placed in Lagna and 5th house, there
will be no birth of child due to the
curse of ancestors.

ल े पु े िपतृ ाने पापे स ितनाशनम् ॥
If 10th Lord Mars is conjunct
with 5th Lord and the malefic
planets are placed in Lagna, 5th
and 10th house then it will result
in the destruction of children.

िपतृ ाना धपे दुः े कारके पापरा शगे।

स-पापौ पु ल ेशौ िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
If 10th Lord is placed in a Trik
house (6,8,12), Jupiter (Significat) is
placed in an inauspicious sign,
Lagna Lord and 5th Lord are
associated with the malefic planets,
there will be destruction of
children due to the curse of
ancestors.

ल प मभाव ा भानु-भौम-शनै राः ।

र े र े रा -जीवौ िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
The Sun, Mars and Saturn are in the
Ascendant and the 5th and Rahu and
Jupiter are in the 8th and the 12th,

ल ाद मगेभानौ पु े भानुन ने।

पु ेशे रा सं यु े ल े पापे सुत यः ॥
The Sun is in the 8th, Saturn is in
the 5th, the lord of the 5th is
associated with Rahu and the
Ascendant is occupied by a
malefic.

येशे ल भाव े र ेशे पु रा शगे।

िपतृ ाना धपे र े िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
The lord of the 12th is in the
Ascendant, the lord of the 8th is
in the 5th and the lord of the 10th
is in the 8th it cause the curse of
ancestors.

रोगेशे पु भाव े िपतृ ाना धपे रपौ।

कारके रा सं यु े िपतृशापात् सुत यः ॥
The lord of the 6th is in the
5th, the lord of the 10th s in the
6th and Jupiter is associated with
Rahu.

13- तदोषप रहाराथ गया ा ं च कारयेत।् ा णान् भोजयेद अयुतं वा सह कम् ॥

अथवा क कादानं गोदानं च समाचरेत।् एवं कृ ते िपतुः शापा ु ते ना सं शयः ॥
वधते च कु लं त पु पौ ािद भ: सदा। हयोगवशादेवं फलं ूयात् िवच णः ॥
To get deliverance form the curse of the father the remedial measures are
• (1) Performance of Shraddha at Gaya,
• (2) to feed ten thousand, one thousand or 100 Brahmints as one can afford,
• (3) Kanyadana (to perform the marriage of a girl)
• (4) giving a cow in charity.
• By observing these remedial measures, the person concerned becomes free from the
curse and the family lineage is prolonged by the birth of sons, grandsons etc.
• Important Note : In this chapter where the words 'childlessness' and 'issue-less-ness' are
used they should be interpreted to mean want of male issue because it is the male issue
who by performing the last rites of his father and mother ensures
