Today , I would like to recite a poem entitled “MY FIRST TIME’ written by
Norhadi Eskaybi.

My First Time
My first time, going to school,
I felt so nervous and my hands so cold,
In my head, everything will be a disaster,
But at the end of the day,
I like being at school anyway.

My first time riding my new bike,

Scared but really excited, I can’t hide.
Tumble, bruises and pain,
Before I can get it straight,
But at the end of the day,
Fun, happy and healthy too, that’s what I got.

My first time baking a cake,

My mom said just don’t wing it,
Need to prepare all the ingredients right,
Follow the recipe, step by step,
And at the end of the day,
It just a piece of cake!
 My first time writing my own poem,
Don’t know how to start,
Words scattered, hurled like drops from a fountain,
Need to speak out, with just simple words,
And at the of the day,
I am no poet, I am just me..
