learning from mistakes and not giving up

With this topic it makes us reflect on our mistakes from which we learn and then know how to

get up and improve towards the problem to grow with them at the end of our life.

It was usually a challenge for me in life with different types of confusing and stressful sad

emotions creating an adventure with a lot of types of chapters in a story. However, many of my

conflicts were important lessons that left me some reminder. But one of my memories that still

stuns me was my childhood, which was beautiful but at the same time hard.

It all starts in a very hot summer, I lived with my parents and had 1 sister, being in my last year

of high school, and my dad took me to work in the fields to help him grow and harvest tobacco

and then sell it, which was something I couldn't do. I used to like it since they were jobs that

required a lot of effort. My dream was to go to university, but I used to have problems

throughout the course of working and studying, which became annoying.

The day my dad had been fired from his job as a mechanic.

because the company had gone bankrupt. He began to look for some way to make a living and

came up with the idea of growing and harvesting tobacco on some of his lands that he had

inherited from his family. Meanwhile I was at school studying and I used to be a rebellious and

sociable boy and my dream was to study at a university and explore other countries. My family

and I were middle class until the moment my dad was fired, that was when everything had

changed. When that happened, I used to wonder, will we still be the same? I was in my room,

and I heard that my parents had called me. I went to see what happened and my father told me

that he would start working. It was a thoughtful and reflective reaction for me as I was beginning

to worry about, "what would happen to my future" "if something gets in the way, what am I
going to do?" These are things that sometimes a human being must know how to solve at any

cost to achieve success.

My first months working after school I went to the fields, and I didn't get used to it since it was

hard work to see. The sun shined brightly as if it were scratching your face, I had to lift bags of

tobacco that I carried on my back held with a wooden stick and it was a heavy load. Rainy days

used to be difficult when moving through the mud; on certain occasions it was very difficult to

walk through the mud. After finishing my work, I always came home and took a shower and then

started studying because I had a dream or a goal to achieve. "I realized that sometimes life is not

perfect, and we always have to prepare for problems that come unexpectedly.

My first days of school were not like what I had imagined since I was usually much more tired

the next day, but I knew I had a goal to accomplish. Problems arose, my school was public but

with a strict education having a high level, I did not get the best grades, sometimes they used to

be difficult, but I did not give up since I also made my effort to help my family. In general, my

childhood was hard describing how I felt daily and what my challenges were to succeed and be

disciplined. As this chapter of my life closes, I know the race continues. Discipline and

perseverance are now part of my essence, influencing every decision and every new challenge.

This memory is a message that means that one can fall and get back up and it is always worth

starting over, influencing every decision we make.
