IS 22224 – IT Governance

Time allowed: TWO (02) Hours

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:

1. This paper consists of two (02) parts: Part I and Part II. Part I should be answered within
the system itself and Part II should be submitted to the system as a PDF file.
2. Part I consists of thirty (30) multiple-choice questions and the time allocation is one (01)
hour. Each question is allocated with 2 marks and the total marks allocated for Part I is 60
out of 100.
3. Part II consists of three (03) essay-type questions and the time allocation is two (02) hours.
The total marks allocated for Part II is 40 out of 100.
4. For each question in Part II, the answer should be within the specified word limit excluding
references. Any reference materials used in compiling answers should be mentioned at the
end of each question.
5. Please refer to the Students Guide to Online Examinations - Faculty of Applied Sciences
Guide for instructions on setting and submitting your answer script for Part II.
6. You must complete the "Declaration by Student for Online Examination" sheet and attach
it to the answer script as the first page.

01. (a) Imagine you are being hired as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of ABC toy [6 marks]
manufacturing company. Explain how you are going to align IT into the business
processes within the organization.

in the IT Governance process within ABC toy manufacturing company.
