Reborn

CHARACTERS:

Amine, male, muscular with a medium height, guitarist and loves to be with his

girlfriend.

Abdesslam,male, tall and muscular, early 60, ex gangster immigrant from morocco.

SETTING

Amine was in a trip to moscow, with his girlfriend, then he couldn’t sleep at night so he

decided to go for a night walk in the creepiest streets of that city, so while walking a tall

and muscular men approaches him and calling him by his name, so amine stopped

walking and waited for the man to know who he was.

Abdesslam : Amine stop !

Amine : who are you ?!

Abdesslam : can’t you remember me ?

Amine : how the fuck do you want me to know a stranger in moscow and I’m from

morocco ?

Abdesslam : You don’t find my face familiar ?

Amine : no.

(Abdesslam disappointed)

Abdesslam : let me introduce myself, I’m Abdesslam born in casablanca, and I had a

family in bouskoura, but I had to leave them so I can survive.

Amine : my father suicied when I was 6, he didn’t give us any reason to do so, I was

devastated.

(abdesslam looking sad with tears in his eye balls)

Abdesslam : have you seen his body in the funerals ?

Amine : No, he was covered by the Kfen.

Abdesslam : I had a son that I loved the most, but I couldn’t see him grow

Amine : how did you know my name ? just forgot to ask.

Abdesslam : it doesn’t matter. Have a good night.

( Abdesslam walked past amine, left him confused without adding no words. So Amine

went back to his hotel room and talked about this with his girlfriend, they can’t find a

logical answer. So they decided to forget about that, acting like nothing happened, and
just trying to enjoy their vacations. While amine was walking trough the tverskaya street

alone, he met again Abdesslam, so he decided to talk to him again).

Amine : Hey Abdesslam stop please !

Abdesslam : You again.

Amine: I was so confused last time, I want some clarifications.

Abdesslam : clarifications about what ?

Amine : how did you know my name ?

Abdesslam : I confused you with someone else, it’s just a coincidance.

Amine : I don’t think that it is a coincidance. You sound very familiar.

(Abdesslam looks at amine and smiles, then he picked up his phone and showed to

amine an old picture of him and his son when he was 2)

Abdesslam : that’s my son from morocco, he was so young when I had to leave him

with his mother, because of some problems that I had with a gang, so I didn’t have a

choice either than leave them so they can be safe.

(Amine very confused because he find the picture very familiar)

Amine : do you have another picture ?

Abdesslam : here is another one .

(Abdesslam showed another picture where Amine can see her mother standing with

Abddesslam, Amine shocked starting to ask Abdesslam )

Amine : where do you know my mother ?!

Abdesslam : so it wasn’t a coincidance.

Amine : what are you talking about ?!

Abdesslam : I’m actually your father, I faked my death so you guys can be safe, then I

went to russia so I can escape from that gang that wanted me dead.

Amine : so you’re actually my father ?

( Abdesslam have tears in his eyes, approaches amine, and hugged him, he said to him

in his ear that he will always with him from now on ).
