Wire harness routing attachment for improved operational
reliability.
Resolution:
The following instructions describe how the harness should be
routed in order to protect the wire harness.

information that is provided in the appropriate Service Manual and Operation and Maintenance Manual(s).
Wire Harness Improvement
• Make all repairs with the lift truck parked on a level, hard surface.
Block the lift truck so it does not roll while working on or under the lift
truck.
2. Pull the harness slightly upwards so that the harness goes straight
behind the lower support of the gas spring.
3. Attach the white tie wrap with hole (p/n RL195726) to the wiring
harness to approximately 40 mm distance from the end of the gas
spring. See picture 3. Tighten the tie wrap and be careful to not
damage the wire harness.
4. Push the black tie wrap through the hole in the white tie wrap and
attach it loosely around the gas spring so that the black tie wrap
slides freely along the gas spring.
5. Insert one tie wrap under the freely sliding tie wrap. Tighten
carefully.

6. Install the wire harness behind the gas spring, see picture 4. Make
sure that the black tie wrap can slide freely around the gas spring
by bending the tiller arm joint. Travel of the wire harness should be
approximately 20 mm.
