Procedure when forming a seam:

1. Measure 1.5 cm from the raw edge and mark the fabric using
marking pencil or tailor’s chalk.

2. Pin and tack (on the fitting line) the two pieces of fabrics in
position.
3. Work backstitches or machine stitches along the fitting line.
4. Remove the tacking stitches.
5. Press.
6. Press the seam open
7. On the seam allowance, measure 1 cm from the seam line. Mark
dotted lines on the seam allowance with the help of the marking
pencil or tailor’s chalk.

8. Begin by working loop stitches along the edges of the fabric. Work
from left to right. Use single thread.

9. Press the seam flat.
