California and regional egg prices are unchanged for Jumbo, unchanged to 42.5 cents lower for Extra Large, unchanged to 46 cents lower for Large, down 17
cents to up 28 cents for Medium, and up 28 cents for Small. New York eggs are down 6 cents for Extra Large and Large and 3 cents lower for Medium. The
undertone is barely steady to weak. Offerings are light to moderate. Supplies are light to moderate. Retail and foodservice demand is light to instances fairly
good. Market activity is moderate. Breaking stock offerings are light to moderate for the light to instances moderate demand. Spent fowl offerings are at least
sufficient for the mostly light to moderate demand.

Live Spent Light Fowl


Prices are trending steady at best. Offerings are at least sufficient moderate for
the mostly light to moderate demand. Processing schedules are normal to less
than normal as processors continue to monitor the labor situation. Finished
product are clearing but are no better than fair. Market activity is slow to
moderate. The majority prices for removal cost are unchanged at 0-5 cents per
head.

(live hens are predominately egg-layers averaging about 3.5 lbs. live weight per bird.)
