arranging Two Days Training on the following topic in Multan on
27 – 28 January 2023, at The King Hotel Abdali Road, Multan
“Measurement Uncertainty and Internal Calibration of
Equipment in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & 15189”
The International Quality Standards & Accreditation Services
(IQS&AS) is working for the welfare and education of youth. The main
focus of IQS&AS is to create awareness in community for education
and development of good society. IQS&AS is already involved in
training for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation. We have already
trained analysts and lab managers nationally and internationally. We
have qualified knowledgeable and experience experts to train for
development and management of quality lab to produce valid results
acceptable internationally. In this regard a Two days training on
"Measurement of Uncertainty and Internal calibration of equipment
in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & 15189; the International
Standard on Laboratory Management” is being organized in Lahore
for all Personnel working in testing and calibration of laboratories.
 Objective of Training Course
Upon completion of this training workshop, the participants will
be able to;
 Understand the concept of uncertainty of measurement for calibration
and testing laboratories and to enable them to identify sources of
uncertainty and to calculate an uncertainty budget.
 In applying estimation of measurement uncertainty in calibration and
testing laboratories to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 &
15189 and Accreditation Bodies.
 Understand the types A and B of uncertainty, their calculation and how
they are evaluated and converted into standard deviation. Shape size for
type B uncertainty component.
 To demonstrate how the number of measurements made can affect the
uncertainty associated with the results.
 To enable participants to determine the impact factors for input quantities
other than measurand to calculate the uncertainty of measurand.
 The linkages among tolerance limit, method validation and quality control
on the bases of measurement uncertainty.
