● The design should have only the logo of RuPay Contactless Unit. No
modification should have been done to the logo. All file formats including the

● All types of Metal or materials which have dominant metallic components or
metallic properties should be strictly avoided.
● Your selected form factor design can be of the following material - PVC,
Polycarbonate, ABS, Silicon, Leather, Clothing, Ceramic, Synthetic woven
fabrics, Veneer Boards etc.
● Form factor should ideally be dustproof and waterproof, and should allow for
branding and colour options.
● The form factor should be designed in a way that the chip in it is
non-removable, and should be easy to package and transport. It should be
sturdy and durable so that it can be used for a long period.
● The form factor must keep into consideration the potential chip size. The size
of the chip which will be integrated in the form factor is as follows –

o If the form factor is rectangle-shaped then the smallest size can be

14mm x 30mm and the maximum size can be 30mm x 40mm
o If the form factor is circular shaped then the minimum diameter to be
25mm
o We recommend the maximum thickness to be 5mm so that contactless
NFC connectivity is possible
