DRAMA TITLE: JAMES AND THE LAWYER
IN MOFINDOR CITY
BACKGROUND OF THE STORY
Some month ago, in the city of Mofindor. There was a two best of friends, Braima and
James. They started their friendship since childhood. One day, Ngevao (younger brother of
Braima) borrow money from James. According to agreement, Ngevao was supposed to
return the money after two months. But Ngevao refuse to paid back the money he borrows
from James. One evening hour, James saw Ngevao coming from school and he attacked
him and he requested for his money as usual, Ngevao said he has no money to pay back for
now. James said according to agreement, you supposed to paid my money two months ago
but on the opposite part, the due time has passed. On anger, James hit Ngevao on his
forehead and Ngevao fall on the ground and this event create a scene and a lot of people
gather around them.
SCENE 1 (FIGHTING SCENE)
Ngevao was now lying on the ground hopeless with no form of consciousness on
confirmation in one nearby hospital, Ngevao was confirm death. On hearing James run
away. Braima (a brother of Ngevao) reported the matter to the police station. In three days’
time, the police searched the city of Mofindor and they found James. Upon the arrest,
James requested for lawyer.
SCENE 2 (FIRST LAWYER)
A layer came and James explained all the matters from the starting to the ending and the
lawyer said boldly that the case is beyond rescued. According to law, in law book page 56
paragraph 3 sub-section 2 which say that. “When you kill a man, you also will be killed”
the man told James this statement and left.
SCENE 3 (SECOND LAWYER)
James also requested for another lawyer. As was expected, the lawyer came and James
explained to him all the details as he did to the first lawyer. But the lawyer give confidence
to James that he will convince all the Judges and he even told James that he should not
worry, they are going to win the case.
IN COURT
SCENE 4 JAMES AND THE LAWYER RUN AWAY
FIRST SESSION
As the first session start, the Judges asked many questions and the questions were thrown
to the lawyer and he answer some of the questions and did not also answer some. To the
look of things, this case is very difficult to win, the lawyer said this statement to himself
and he totally loose hope and decide to withdraw from the case. Then he whispers into the
ear of James and said “Is like you are not going to win this case, so when I’m leaving
the court room you better follow me” and the session was put on break and the lawyer
request to go outside and the Judges grant the lawyer his wish and James followed him as
was planned and both of them run away and till now, no one has found them.

DRAMA TITLE: THE POOR SON AND THE RICH SON

PLAY ONE (1) (ADMISSION OF POOR SON)

In the city of Freetown, there was a Medical Doctor at Connaught hospital who admitted a
patient who was suffering from Dialysis. But the patient relative was poor and they could
not afford the bill for the treatment. And the patient was dying slowly because of money.
All the health worker in the ward/unit could not attend to this patient because they were
very poor even to eat was a great battle for a day.
PLAY TWO (2) (ADMISSION OF RICH PATIENT)
As the day pass, another patient was admitted in the same ward together with the poor
patient. And he was suffering from Gastritis. This patient was son of the Mayor of Kenema
city. In every moment, the Doctor and the nurses check upon the mayor son to know his
status/condition. Upon admission, treatment was commenced immediately. Hourly later,
the poor boy started fighting for his life. And the mum of the poor boy started to cry, and
beg the Doctor to at least do the basic needful for her son not to die. But the Doctor
couldn’t listen. Instead, he said they are not running free medical service and if she wants
her son to be heal, she is to buy medications. Two hour later, the poor woman son was
gasping for Air. For the second time, the mother told the doctor to give her son oxygen
machine to support breathing. And the Doctor refuse to offer the poor boy the machine for
breathing. The poor mother was busy crying and begging the Doctor when one of the staff
nurses came and said Doctor the boy has stop breathing.
PLAY THREE (3) THE DEATH OF THE POOR BOY
When the Doctor reached to the poor boy, his body was so cold, and there was no pulse, no
breathing and no body movement. He brought out the stethoscope and placed it on the top
right side of the breast bone and listen. But he couldn’t not get any sound. And he confirms
the boy death. At that point, the mother fainted and after some minutes later, she was
awake and cast the blame on the Doctor that he Killed her son.

DRAMA TITLE: DIGGING SOIL
BACKGROUND OF THE STORY
SCENE ONE: BRAIMA DEPOSIT MONEY IN THE BANK
Once upon a time in the city of Kailahun, Braima decided to keep his money in the bank.
Two years later, he got a called from a strange number and the man told him that he has
won NLe 10,000 but for him to claim it he need to give his bank confirmation password,
due to ignorance, he gave the man all the details he requested for and the man dropped the
called, unknow to him that it was a fraud. Two minutes later, the bank manager called
Braima and told him that his account is empty and he ask him if he did not share the
confirmation password to anybody at first, he said no. After some minutes, he realized that
a strange man called him earlier and ask him for the confirmation password. Braima
Shouted my money! My Money! My NLe 15,000. He now realized that he was fraud by
some men.
SCENE TWO (THE FRAUD MAND AND HIS BOSS)
The fraud man was called Castro and Castro also have a boss name Benzer. Castro work
for Benger and Castro was the man who fraud Braima. Castro fraud Braima with the sum
of NLe 15 000 and reported to his boss that he stole NLe 10,000 from Braima and he
engulf the remaining NLe 5000. But Benger know Braima very well. When Benger meet
Braima crying, he was curious and asked Braima what happen. Braima explained
everything and Benger realized that Castro cheat on him and he reported the matter to the
police and Castro was arrested and taken away.
SCENE THREE (CASTRO IN PRISON)
He was in the prison for two months. Momoh Father of Castro was living in a village and
he decided to write a letter to Castro and it wast stated that “it has taken a long time
without seeing each other and at this time, we are now ploughing in the farm and I
don’t have enough money to pay a labourer to do the job. I need your financial
assistance greatly”. And this message was conveyed to Castro by the police. And Castro
reply “Now I don’t have much with me here, but I have thief a money and I hide it in
the farm land located by the river side down the road, go and dig there and you will
find the money”
SCENE FOUR (THE DIGGING OF THE FARM LAND)
Castro gave the reply to the police man and the police man was asked to go with the letter
to his father. On his way he decided to open the letter and read the content of the letter and
he knows everything on that paper. On the following day, the police man gathers men
power and they decided to dig the farm land. And every where on the farm land was dug.
On the next letter the father wrote this “Son, I ask you for financial help to do our
farming, but suprisely the whole farm land was turn-out upside down what a miracle,
the man shouted!” And this same letter was brought in by the police officer. And Castro
reply to his father “Father, it was not a miracle when you met the whole farm land
dug, I lied to the police men that I hide the money in the farm knowing that they will
go there and decide to find it. For now, I’m in prison, and I can’t do much, at least
this is the little I can do for you. Thank you, Dad from Castro”. When the police men
open the letter on their way, the realized that Castro has tricks them and all of them
shouted Castro we’re coming for you!
