Before You Begin
This manual is meant to help you set up your PartnerHero equipment. Here you’ll find instructions
and recommendations to have your equipment ready for the first day of New Hire Orientation.
Please know that the type of equipment and peripherals you receive depends on the needs of your
role (e.g., if your program doesn’t offer phone support then a headset is not required.).

PartnerHero Credentials
You’ll need your PartnerHero credentials to log in to your equipment. You can find these in your
Welcome Email with the Orientation details. You’ll receive this email a day or two prior to your first
day—keep an eye out for a message from team-orientation@partnerhero.com.

Secondary User (BYOD)

You will need to create a secondary in Google Chrome user if you were approved to use a personal
device for your first day of Orientation. This will help keep your personal information separate from
PartnerHero’s data.

To create a secondary user:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. At the top right, click Profile
3. Click Add
4. Choose a name and photo
5. Click Add
6. A new window will open and ask you to turn on sync
7. Click here to complete the Security Checkup (mandatory step)

Tip: Check out Google’s Share Chrome with Others article to learn more about adding, changing,
and removing a secondary user.
