When the onion price soar, every Filipino especially in cuisine sectors been
affected.

Due to the agricultural problems and global issues such as wars and
inflation, onion prices became more expensive. It drives every Filipinos to
be in a situation that tempt each of them in experiencing difficulties
financially.

In our opinion, the importation of onions to other nations also gives a great
contribution in this inflation urge. This highly affects the economic and
agricultural sectors here in the country.

Due to the agricultural problems and global issues such as wars and
inflation, onion prices been higher and higher. IT leads every filipino’s to
suffer which starts on holiday seasons which onions are highly necessary
The importation of onions to other nations also provides an adverse effect to
the agricultural sectors, food industry and inflation rate here in the country.

Each of us should be enlighted by this kind of problem, as a Filipino citizen


we will provide what’s better for us and give actions to it.

When it comes to the dishes that we like to eat, the taste is of the utmost importance,
and one of the vegetables that we frequently use to deliver that essential aroma is the
onion.

Many would agree that the flavor of the onions is as great as its value in the kitchen.
Soups, sauces, salsas, curries, sandwiches, burgers, grilled menu, and just about
everything else, if not all, cannot be cooked without it.

But what if its growing season becomes difficult, causing its price to skyrocket to
unaffordable levels?

For the past 10 years, Jackieline Villaceran has been selling vegetables and fruits at the
new public market in Puerto Princesa City. Onions are among those she sells because
they are essential needs.
