History:
In 1979 the local goverment of Tk. II Probolinggo Regency has public health facilities
that serve inpatient care. The health facility is the Kraksaan General Hospital, which is
located at Jl. Alun-alun No. 1 Kraksaan. Due to the narrow land area and inadequate
buildings, it is difficult for Kraksaan General Hospital to develop into a proper hospital in
providing adequate services to the community. Based on these considerations, the Regional
Government of Probolinggo Regency is determined to build a new, more adequate hospital
with the name Waluyo Jati Hospital.
Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital was inaugurated by the Governor of the East Java
Region on January 6, 1982. Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital is located on Jl. Soetomo, No. 1
Kraksaan, Probolinggo Regency in Kandangjati Kulon Village, Kraksaan District with a land
area of 35.000 M². From year to year Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital develops services by
building various service units on the land.

Accreditation:
On September 23, 2017, Waluyo Jati Hospital was declared to have passed the Plenary
Level Accreditation by the Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS).
On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Regional General Hospital
(RSUD) received a visit from the East Java Provincial Health Office (Dinkes) and the All-
Indonesian Hospital Association (Persi) East Java. Form the results of the visit, RSUD
Waluyo Jati Kraksaan was recommended as a class B hospital with a note that it immediately
adjusted to the provisions in accordance with applicable regulations regarding classification
and licensing of general hospital.

Operational License:
On June 25, 2021 Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital has obtained an extension of its
operational permit with the issuance of the Decree of the Head of the East Java Province
One-Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service Number: 5/03.06/01/VI/2021
concerning Class B Hospital Operational Permit.

1. Afrizal Septian Agung Pratama (4 star): “In my opinion, this hospital has quite
complete facilities ranging from clinics, emergency rooms, inpatients,
pharmacists, operating rooms, VIP rooms, ambulances and other supports. In
terms of service, this hospital is quite ordinary, there is still a lot that needs to be
 evaluated in terms of service to patients. I often see patients being treated
unfriendly by their staff because they have lower class BPJS, and also in terms of
cleanliness, it needs to be improved again because there are dirty spots.”
2. Rohmad Fauzi (3 star): “waluyo is indeed a large and spacious hospital, but the
facilities are still very lacking. the officer was not alert and looked relaxed even
though the patient's condition was very severe. lower class rooms are very dirty
and smelly. much different from the VIP room which is quite clean and fragrant.”

“When I was treated there, the service was quite good. Every morning there is a janitor
who always cleans my inpatient room very politely. It's just that the drug service is still
very lacking and it takes a long time to queue”
