Watupá-e

The Small UAS with a twist...

Watupá is our answer to demands from customers operating UAS
over large areas in rugged environments, requiring longer endurance
and better flight quality.

The new Watupá-e UAS provides a perfect combination of payload capacity, flight
stability and endurance for large-area SUAS operations.

Watupá-e is a sturdy entry-level UAS with the sturdiness and reliability of our former fuel engine
Watupá, now with an electric power plant, it is ergonomic and an excellent product for small-size
operations.

Watupá-e's new design is an easy to use, long endurance, precise flight UAS with very high
transversal wind resilience, at a low cost of operation.

This SUAS with power-glider-looks, achieves its high aerodynamic efficiency and endurance through
its high aspect ratio wing concept and a V-tail configuration.
Watupá-e
The Watupá-e is designed for easy assembly, with the sturdiness for hard belly
landing, will also withstand adverse weather conditions as a bigger fixed wing
UAS, operating for longer periods with a stable flight behavior.

Airframe
• Body - Kevlar reinforced composite sandwich airframe.
• Wingspan - 1.9m, 6kg MTOW.
• Endurance Very high 3-5 hours (depending on payload configuration).
• Flight height 10-4000m with <30km radial coverage.
• 40 kts transversal wind resistance.
• Hand or optional catapult launched.
• Belly landing or parachute drop (safety recovery).
• Modular, designed for one-person operation.

Avionics
• Flight control system with precise redundant IMU sensors and laser altimeter.
• Android, Windows or Linux based GCS with failsafe, sensor redundancy, geofencing, grid flight
planning, secondary landing site.
• HIL flight simulator with X-Plane.

Aerial survey configuration

• Post-processed kinematic (PPK)
• Fast centimeter level L1/L2 RTK with horizontal accuracy of 1-5cm and Vertical accuracy of 8-
5cm.
• On-board processing computer.
