Choreographed aerobic dance- is a very popular form of exercise throughout the world.
Aerobics- included scientific exercise programs using running, walking, swimming and
bicycling. Means with “Air” by air it means oxygen.
Aerobic exercise- refer to exercise which is of moderate intensity, undertaken for a long
duration.
Agility- is the capacity to change the direction of the body quickly and effectively.
Balance- it involves vision, reflexes, and the skeletal muscular system which provides
the maintenance of equilibrium.
Muscular strength- the ability to continue selected muscle group to contract against a
resistance.
High impact aerobics- routines utilize few it any movements that allow one focus to stay
on the ground at all times.
Physical fitness testing- is a necessary activity because it will give us information on the
status of over-all physical fitness.
Low impact aerobics- strives to lessen the number of injuries associated with the
continuous pounding that feet, legs, and joints take in a normal high impact workout.
Cardio respiratory endurance- the ability of the heart and lungs to function efficiently
and effectively over a prolonged period of time.
