Schools Division Superintendents Chief Education Program Supervisors Education Program Supervisors Public Schools District Supervisors School Heads FROM MARITESA. 1B. 6 cEsOV Schools Division Superintendent SUBJECT: WOMEN’S MONTH CELEBRATION DATE = February 26, 2018 Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No, 224, s. 1988 declaring the first week of March each year as Women’s Week and March 8 as Women’s Rights and International Peace Day; PD No. 227, s. 1988 providing for the observance of the month of March as Women’s Role History, and RA 6949, declaring March 8 of every yeas as National Women’s Day, Schools Division Office of Rizal joins the nation in the observance of the National Women’s Month celebration (NWMC) with the theme “We Make Change Work for Women”. This office enjoins all districts and schools to participates in this celebration with the following objectives: 1. inform and engage women as stakeholders of government programs and services; 2, strengthen Magna Carta for Women; 3. inspire and empower women; and 4. create IEC materials School/district activities may include the following * Posting/Display of streamer which may be downloaded at PCW website; * Use of all-women-cast video presentation of the “Lupang Hinirang” during Flag Raising Ceremony * Poster/Fiyers making Contest and others * Other related advocacy programs ‘An Activity Completion Report consolidated by District must be submitted to SGOD-HRD — Attention: Marita L. Gonzales, SEPS-HRD after the month-long celebration. Enclose to the Completion Report are (1) School Memorandum; (2) Attendances; (3) Completion Report/Narrative Report; and (4) pictorials Expenses relative to the conduct of this activity are chargeable against GAD Funds subject to the usual auditing rules and procedures.
