She was an educator, scientist, doctor, psychiatrist, philosopher, psychologist, devout Catholic, feminist, and
Italian humanist who was characterized by providing a prepared environment: orderly, aesthetic, simple, real,
where each element has its reason for being in the development of the kids. In addition to preparing the student
for a development for which he is made responsible through cooperation with the adult that replaces the
imposition of tasks.

this method towards self-study implies that the material is a very important part of the school.

However, in many cases the school does not prepare the student to make decisions on their own criteria or to
be happy in their lives. The Montessori method prepares children to be happy with their own decisions. This
