Origami Magic Rose Cube

This is a cube that has the capability to change into a rose with a little bit of your help!

Step 1: Materials

What materials you will need to make the Origami Magic Rose Cube:

3 green square sheets of origami paper


3 red or pink square sheets of origami paper

Step 2:

Take the red or pink piece of paper and fold it in half. Then in half again in the same direction you folded it the first
time and then unfold it. Then you will fold the top right of the paper at a 45 degree angle that will line up with the
first line on the left. Then do the same to the bottom left corner.

Step 3:

You will need to take the top corner of the triangle you just folded and make a fold towards you on the line. Then
take the top left corner of the paper and fold it to your right on the line. Finally flatten the paper well and turn it
around.

Step 4:

You will need to lift the flap on the bottom right corner and fold the bottom left corner into the flap. Then you will
need to fold towards you the on the line, the corner of what used to be the bottom left corner. Then fold the top left
corner to your right and then flatten it out.

Step 5:

You will need to flip the paper upside down and fold the triangles on the top and bottom in. Then fold the top right
corner of the paper to the top left corner of the paper. Then fold the bottom left corner of the paper to the bottom
right corner of the paper. Then unfold the last four folds you did. Finally repeat steps 2-5 until you have three of the
figures.

Step 6:

Take the green piece of paper and fold it in half. Then in half again in the same direction you folded it the first time
and then unfold it. Then you will fold the top right of the paper at a 45 degree angle that will line up with the first
line on the left. Then do the same to the bottom left corner.

Step 7:

You will need to take the top corner of the triangle you just folded and make a fold towards you on the line. Then
take the top left corner of the paper and fold it to your right on the line and finally flatten the paper well.

Step 8:

You will need to take the bottom right corner and fold it at a 45 degree angle so that it is the same side as the
triangle next to it. Then you will need to fold the triangle at the bottom up and then fold the bottom right corner at a
45 degree angle so that it is next to the flap on the left. Finally unfold the last fold you did.

Step 9:

You will need to flip the paper around and fold the bottom left corner of the paper on the line, into the flap on the
right. Then you will need to fold what used to be the bottom left corner towards you. Then you will need to fold the
triangle in the top left corner in half and flatten out the paper.

Step 10:

You will need to fold the small triangle in the bottom right corner in. Then you will need to fold the bottom corner to
the middle right corner. Then unfold the last two folds and turn the paper upside down. Finally repeat steps 6-10
until you have made three of the figures.

Step 11:

At this point you should have three of each of the figures.

Step 12:

You will now assemble the red or pink figures no flaps into either one of its pockets. This step is

Step 14:

Step 15:

Then you will need to put one of the green flaps into one of the red pockets next to the last flap you put in. Then
put in the last red flap into the last green pocket and finally put int he green flap into the last red pocket. The last
two flaps are the hardest to put in so be gentile and take your time. After that you should have a cube with three
green sides an three red or pink sides.

Step 16:

To make the flower appear you need some magic. Just kidding you will need to grab the outside of each of the red
or pink pockets and gently push them in about a half an inch. You will need to do it three times. Then you will need
to pull the green flaps out, they act as petals for the flower.

Step 17: Conclusion

I'm not sure if I was clear enough in explaining the steps, but I think the photos will help. Also if you have any
