Benefits of exercising

Should we worry about leading a sedentary lifestyle?

Exercising is one of the most important habits for health, helps you control your
weight, reduces risks to your health, strengthens you, develops your ability to do
your daily activities and increases your chances of living a longer life.

A physical activity is any activity that keeps your body in movement, there are many
options to choose the best for you, taking into consideration your disponibility, your
age and the costs.

The following are some examples of physical activities:


● jog or run
● swim
● soccer
● basketball
● American football
● jump the rope
The time recommended for exercising is 150 minutes per week.

Despite all the physical and psychic benefits of exercising there is a big percentage
of people who abandon exercising for lack of time, school requirement or laziness
among other reasons, and this can lead us to have a sedentary lifestyle affecting us
in many ways, makes you gain weight, weaken your bones and immune system,
poor blood circulation and obesity. At the moment sedentary lifestyle affects 58.3
percent of mexicans.

So, what can I do to avoid abandoning exercising?


A good way to avoid giving up is to keep the motivation, remember your objectives,
visualize your goal, or change your activity if you don’t feel comfortable doing any
activity.
