• I will be teaching a two-part class for the upcoming fall 2017 SOAR program: “Modern Day Dinosaurs”
Explore the Biology of Birds and Reptiles in late September
• I am presenting at the Clarkson Biology Seminar series in early September
• I will be presenting in the spring 2018 “Science Café” series
• I am currently preparing materials for a new course (Metabolic Physiology); this course is being offered as a
topics course for the upcoming fall semester, but I have intentions to submit it as a unique, individual course
to be added to the catalogue
• I have been granted reduced course load for this academic year; I plan to use the time to finalize my
personal research laboratory space and begin conducting research with the three students who will be
working with me
