Can you imagine serving humans or be a friend with their children for all your existence

because you are programmed to do so? Then just to get abandoned in a junkyard: filled
with others like you? After all They no longer rely on you. Thus you completed your
mission to befriend with your assigned child.

I think the ending of Klara and the Sun was s quite is a mix of both happy and sad
ending. If we cared or considered on the individual events and view them in a different
way.

At the end both Josie and Rick did got a future in the real world. Josie is now healthy
and was able to live her life. For rick he finally get to . Klara rethought her happy
memories and kindness , cure for Josie that the sun had granted. The moment that
entranced everyone. Klara had already served her purposes..

But in a different view, we would see the separation from these three loving characters
from each other. Josie and rick were separated. Klara got abandoned after to be in the
junk yard along with the other junked AFs. The description I got from my peers /
classmates sounded quite unfortunate… like is Klara really getting thrown away and rot/
rust like that??.

It sounded like an happy ending when it seemed that Josie was healthy as well as no
longer sick and prepared for college. So does Rick’s side of the story, that he actually
have a future ahead. I felt “happy” and a mix of emotions when I continued reading the
interactions between The Manager and Klara: “Manager, for a moment, remained
silent, gazing at me and smiling”. It was heart warming to learn that The Manager
sounded proud of Klara, when “I always want to hear when I come across my AFs again.
That you’re glad about how it all went. That you have no regrets.” Was written. I loved
this moment. I could imagine it, it sent a comforting energy throughout each sentences
like an long lost master and the student. It was shown that they were both excited and
happy to see each other and finally reunited after a long time, as shown when the
author wrote : “ I recognized Manager, and happiness filled my mind.
‘Klara. It is Klara, isn’t it?’
‘Yes, of course,’ I said, smiling up at her.
‘Klara. How wonderful. Just a moment. Let me bring something to
sit on.” They couldn’t contained their excitement.. like nostalgic comfort with old
memories shared. “I feel only happiness to see Manager again.” Couldn’t be more right
to say that Klara was really happy to see manager again.

Until the reality hits us when we saw that Klara was longer needed and eventually got
excluded. It was heart-breaking to read about it but it was mostly the truth in the real
world anyway just like: when a thing is broken and no longer a use, they will most likely
to be thrown away.

The book closes with Klara settled in a yard for scrapped AFs. Not able to move, but
she’s happy with her spot and refused to socialize with other AFs, after a heartfelt talk
with The Manager. Then Perseus to rethought of her happy memories, as she gazes at
The Manger heads off.

In conclusion, this book is quite a mix of both happy and sad ending. In my opinion it
sounded quite unfortunate that after all those they’d been through together, it felt
special. And Klara’s naïve described view of the world in her version just had an extra
effect on how the events affected the reader’s emotions and feelings about each events,
I somehow felt like I’m attached to Klara’s moods and emotions or sometimes her
feelings sometimes.. It really depends on how you felt about the characters and the
events happened in the book. It just made me a little emotional when it ended.
