We would like to have certain changes / modification some clauses of General Terms &
Conditions?
The General Terms & Conditions (GTCC) of the contract is binding documents and are non-
negotiable, and it will be integral part of Contract. Except modifications in place of jurisdiction,
no other changes are possible. Participation in tender will construed as the acceptance of our
GTCC.
It is mentioned on Page 5 of TOR that the deliverable for the consultant is to ‘Support
local communication (40-60 factories) and invitation management’.
We understand that GIZ will provide the list of factories to be contacted for the Kick-off
events and their contact details. Kindly let us know if our understanding is correct.
We also request GIZ to clarify if 40-60 factories are expected to be reached out for each
Kick-off event or for a total of the 2-3 events.No, this project involves setting up an e
learning platform only.

b. Is there any expectation of the minimum/maximum number of factories to
be covered in each of the project states?

factories for implementing this project, or would GIZ support in this

D ‘Engagement of the cotton project experts with national business associations
representing the textile, garment, export and chemical industries’.
We understand that GIZ wants involvement of the same consultant from inception

until end of the assignment to ensures smooth flow of information and data.
However, looking at the scope of work and timeline, we believe that the expert will
need support team members for executing the project effectively. Please let us know
thought of GIZ on this and maximum number of support members allowed in this
project.
As stipulated in the TOR, GIZ would need and prefer a lead consultant who is involved in
meeting the deliverables of the project. The support, if any of the team members would be
an internal mechanism of the agency.
We request GIZ to clarify if there is any specific format for the CVs? If yes, requesting
GIZ to kindly share this format.
There is no specific format of CVs. However kindly ensure that the required technical
qualifications and experience, as stipulated in the TOR should be clearly included. Further,
please ensure that the CV does not exceed four pages.
We request GIZ to clarify if the documents for assessing eligibility of the consultants
– including project credentials, would be included in the 30 pages of the technical
proposal, or need to be submitted as a part of the company documents.
Apart from CV and supportive company documents (eg: previous work of similar nature), the
complete bid shall not exceed 30 pages.
Yes, if your existing medical insurance covers this, then it is sufficient. An amount of INR
5,000 per expert will be paid on lumpsum against submission of said insurance.
