‘Fact is something true; something that is actually existing or happening. It is
‘something which can be verified with evidence.
~~ Weuse signal words such as confirm, according to, discovered, etc. to
indicate a factual statement.
Examples:
|. Dogs have fur.
According to the Department of Health, there are 59, 968 total confirmed cases
‘of COVID-19 in the Philippines as of August 9, 2020,
Dr. Jose Rizal is our national hero.
Opinion is a person’s belief or judgment of something. Opinions are often
Personal interpretations and cannot be verified with evidence.
Y Opinions are often (though not always) preceded with terms such as ‘T
think’, or with adjectives, comparatives and superlatives, such as,
‘good’, better, best. ‘
¥- The word “should” usually signals an opinion,
Examples:
