communication and collaboration skills as they work together as coach and as client to

● Interpersonal skills used with your client while coaching and setting goals.
● Reasons for the strategies used to enhance interpersonal skills through Feedback to
client that leads to changes in the session plans.
● Strategies for collaboration with the client that leads to ongoing development of an
effective session plan.

As a client: Submits a detailed account that includes

● Interpersonal skills used with your client while coaching and setting goals.
● Reasons for the strategies used to enhance interpersonal skills through consistent
feedback to coach that leads to adaptation of the session plans
● Strategies for collaboration with the coach that leads to ongoing development of an
effective session plan.

Strand ii: Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of a plan based on the outcome

This strand relates to the coach’s reflection on the session plans after the final performance.

As coach: Submit a detailed evidence that analyses and explains the outcome of the session
plans including:

● How the goals of your client were met (compare all the three (bench mark, interim
and end of coaching) tests carried out, look at your coaching plans were they
effective)
● What might you do differently next time?
● Successes and challenges throughout.

Strand iii: Analyze and evaluate performance

This strand relates to the client’s reflection at the end of the development and performance
process.

As client: (base your analysis on the tests your coach carried out and your final video)

● Break down the performance with respect to the skills and techniques that it
demonstrates, including the steps that led to it from the initial recording, through the
session plans, to the final performance
● weigh the strengths and limitations of the performance (video)
● Critically reviews the performance with respect to personal goals as well as the aims
of physical and health education.
