1. Outselling your rivals is the best indicator of success.

Although it may not be the ideal metric, it is obvious that if you outsell your
competitors, your clients prefer you and you are more successful than them.

2. Mismanagement is the biggest cause of business failure.

Mismanagement is a serious error that will almost certainly result in the failure of
your business because it demonstrates a lack of management and control on your
part.

3. Rebranding is often a pointless exercise.

Depending on the product you wish to rebrand, it could be useless in certain respects
yet advantageous for a new image or market niche.

4. Underfunding and overstaffing are the quickest way to failure.

Naturally, if your business employs a large number of people and you lack the money
to compensate them, then this will fail.

5. Undercutting the competition is a dangerous business strategy.  

Undercutting the competition might not be a wise decision because, when you do so,
you feel safe and stop worrying about being better.
