It is truly necessary that governments invest money on researching the space when the earth is

falling apart? The earth, the planet that has given so many good things to humanity, its going
through difficult times, and humans, instead of doing something to give back all the good, are
looking outside trying to find a place, that looking the records, will be destroyed in the same way
that earth. That is why, governments around the world should be investing their money on the
challenging problems that the earth is facing.

First, it is necessary to understand why to look above everything, problems on earth. Earth is like a
home, and as every home in the world, it is important to keep it together, to take care of it, to
think about it as one of the most important things on life. People cannot allow that in their home
is normal to see children starving, people living without basic things, like water, or people hating
each other and fighting because of that hate. Summarizing, humanity is going through some hard
stuff that has more priority that finding a new place to live, people need to solve the problems
that are seeing every day.

Continuing, some scientists say that looking for new planets is something that humanity needs to
do to find new forms of life or, to know of what things the universe is made, consequently, this
wish of the scientists lead governments to invest. But is that what the humanity needs? Invest the
money of the children and the least favored in some wish that scientists want to fulfill? If this
happens, humanity is going to be more and more selfish, putting first their wishes that the
wellness of billions of humans. In sum, governments cannot permit that the wishes of some be
placed above the general welfare.

Overall, money should be invested by the governments on the complex problems that earth is
experiencing. This is said mainly two reasons, the importance to solve the problems that are
afflicting the earth, and the urgence to stop the selfishness that is being present on some people.
Government, as one important head, needs to give example and put priorities in order.
