MY NAME HERE

My Personal Goal:
Link your personal Goal to one of the IB Learner Profile Attributes. Explain what you want
to achieve through your involvement in Creativity, Activity and Service, and which skills
you hope to develop over the course of 18 months as a CAS Student.
You can also explain which areas you think you could need some help with from others and
how you plan to meet your goal though your CAS Programme.

Through my involvement in Creativity/Activity/Service (CAS), I would hope to

develop the skill of being more caring. Over the 18 month course of CAS, I want
to focus on bringing other people joy and/or improved health/well-being. This
connects to service. Additionally, I want to do this in a way that opens my mind
further to my opportunities; if I can discover more creative ways to be caring,
then I will not only improve my caringness but also my creativity. Then, I can
carry what I learn into my future and keep bringing smiles to people’s faces. This
is the creativity part of it all. However, one should never forget to take care of
oneself: I will take part in action activities in order to take care of my own body,
which will improve my own health and well-being, and by extension, allow me to
improve other people’s lives as well. For example, I now take part in the BSN’s
GSA, which allows me to perform service through advocacy and improve the lives
of others. I’d never done this before, so I’ve already taken my first step into
becoming the more caring person I want to be. Another example is that I have
just signed up for creating escape room activities for Year 10s and 11s for Trip
Week, which should bring smiles to their faces.
