• Stainless steel grade 316S (electro-polished)

Loadings
• Ultimate load in direction ‘B’ depends on shear strength of bolt. M16 A4/80 bolts may fail
In shear at approximately 75 kN (16,860lbf)
• Ultimate loads in direction ‘A’ depends on the strength of bolt. For M16 A4/80 bolts,
Strength = 150 kN (typical). (33,721lbf)
• Maximum service load in direction C is 10 kN (2,248lbf)

Quality control
• 1. 100% dye penetrant & X-ray inspected.
• 2. 100% visual inspection.
• 3. Batch conformance test – minimum static strength 45 kN (10,116lbf) (direction B).

Approvals
• Complies with BS EN795 & BS EN353:1

General information
• Specifically designed as a single point end anchor for Latchways horizontal & vertical systems.
• Use only Ø16 mm high tensile bolts. Typical minimum grade A4/70.
• Recommended fastenings torque for M16 A4/80 bolts = 150 Nm. Do not over torque.
• Structural anchorages should be capable of sustaining the applied loads generated by horizontal
systems (19 kN (4,271lbf) & 22.5 kN (5.058lbf) (Max.) For 7x7 & 1x19 construction s/s cable
respectively) & vertical systems – max arrest loads 15 kN (3,372lbf).
• Designed to accommodate female toggle and entry terminal directly.
