Find a temporary email website, where you can get a temp email, you need one you

can log back into

go on dyson website, signup, use temp email and password

for the serial, ill give you a list of formats, but all you do is edit the numbers
at the end, by example: D1F-UK-MGE1892A thats for v11 absolute, change the 1892
numbers, so like D1F-UK-MGE9128A , the website doesnt check if serial matches a
different account

then put your address and random number in (preferably a nr that doesnt exist)

done! now you have a dyson account, with a machine linked to it, all that the
agents need!

then go livechat, youll find that it probably says "chat is not available" at which
point you just gotta keep waiting till it says "live chat" and then quickly press
it, just means all agents are busy at the time. heres an example of how a
conversation goes:

" hello my motorhead for my V11 has cracked, can i please get a new replacement if
my warranty covers it? it randomly cracked as i was hoovering "

" of course please provide these details:

full name
email
contact nr
address

"here it is: ............... "

"thanks let me check info"

" ive placed a order, arriving in 3-5 business days"

this is an easy version of the convo, for batteries and main bodies theyre a bit
different and go like:

"thanks for the info, can i go through some troublershoot"

" of course "

" when you plug in your machine, what lights do you see? "

" red, it flashes about 20 times both when on charge and off charge "

" okay thats a battery fault ill replace it "

so heres the list of excuses:

battery - flashes red about 20 times, flashes when charging as well, no power to
machine

main body - display doesnt work, flashes red, OR main body has a crack in it OR
main body trigger is stuck and wont move at all

filter - cracked, it wont click in properly


wand - bent

motorhead- cracked when hoovering randomly

dust bin - cracked, hisses

SIDE NOTES:

Some agents will be cunts, its normal, usually its people like jessica, roxanne
etc. normal names, whilst people like SHANIQUA will usually be really nice and do
whatever with no questions asked

when you get asked info so they find your account, NEVER give them your serial
before they found the account! by example:

" of course, can you provide me these details so i can locate your account:

full name
address
serial number "

" yeah of course, but I cant find my serial atm, can you find it with just the info
provided? my nr is X , my email is X my address is X , MY NAME IS X , (try to give
email and nr first as you want them to search your account via those, if they
search via address it can pull up your other accounts, same for serial, you dont
want them checking via serial because it might show other accounts that have the
serial)

after they located your account, if they do say can you give serial for security
purposes, its fine to give it then, for as long as they dont search for the account
using the serial.

DOUBLE DIP TIME!

Some agents, if you know theyre not being awkward and seem nice, when they ordered
your part, say the following:

" thank you so much, i didnt know dyson was this good for warranties! ill
definitely keep buying here! "

" if its not too much to ask, could I receive a filter (or bin or wand, try a small
part not big like battery etc) replacement also? as mine cracked and struggles to
click in properly, i was gonna buy one if not, thank you! "

most of em will place the order , but some awkward ones wont , heres the answers to
your questions:

1. why wont they place the 2nd one? well, theres a hidden dyson rule that tells
them they cant place two different orders per account but not everybody knows that
2. why dont i just say i have 2 issues to begin with? well, another dyson rule that
most know about is they cant place an order for 2 items, theyd rather redirect you
to an engineer so he can fix everything himself.

you basically want to give them a SIMPLE solution, so they trust themselves to fix
it themselves by sending a part, they dont want to be confused and think it might
be many other parts at fault, meaning theyll redirect to an engineer. so things
like, part is cracked / damaged, is easy fix as you know thats the issue , whilst
things like red lights everywhere, can mean battery, can mean body, can mean filter
etc. so you want to be as dead-on its THIS PART that's wrong, as you can!
also if i havent mentioned, some awkward agents that are VERY experienced will say
"can i send a video link so you can show me the problem " this is usually a dead
end, you can try to get your way out of it by saying stuff like my phones in
repairs etc. but usually its a dead end

also a dead end if they mention engineer, if they want the engineer to look at the
main reasons for this fault is:
- you made them suspicious, by either asking for too much, or them locating your
account via serial or address rather than email and phone number
- agent is an awkward prick
- you werent too direct on what part is at fault, meaning they got confused and
thought it could be many parts at fault hence why theyd rather contact engineer

Here's what your probably thinking.. how the fuck do I order the main body and
battery as theyre the hardest to get as their faults seem to be nearly the same.

Right, so usually my GO-TO battery excuse:

" Hello! so I've got an issue, my battery is flashing red about 20 times, ive done
a lot of troubleshoot and found its a battery issue, ive actually also used a
different battery from my friend and it worked, can i please get a battery
replacement if my warranty covers it? " usually theyll place the order, but they
might go through troubleshoot, most troubleshoot questions are : " what lights when
you charge? " A: Red flashes "do you get power to the machine? " " no just flashes
red" , " does your display show anything? " NOW THATS A AWKWARD QUESTION. because
if you say nothing shows, could mean its a main body issue, your way out of that
question COULD be, yes it shows low battery indicator but ive tried charging it
many times and doesnt change. this can result to them saying theyll send a new
charger, if they do that say " oh thank you but can i also receive a new battery
with that? just because im sure its the battery at fault as the one i tried from my
friend didnt flash red and his charger didnt do anything to mine as well, id just
rather have both if possible" 99% of the time theyll send both but this can ruin
your double dip sadly.

as for the main body, you want to say either cracked main body, trigger doesnt work
(its stuck) OR red lights display doesnt turn on.

my most recent conversation went EXACTLY like this:

hello how can i help (not exactly what he said but just writing it in my own way, i
had it copy pasted but document was obvs deleted)

me:
hello, my battery has been flashing red about 20 times, after some research I found
that this is a battery fault, could I please receive a new one if my warranty

its X , X ,X and my phone number is X, as for my serial i dont have it atm, can
you locate it without? (SIDE NOTE IF THEYRE ADAMANT THEY WANT THE SERIAL JUST GIVE
IT TO THEM AND HOPE NOBODY ELSE LINKED IT TO THEIR ACCOUNT but 99% of the time
theyll just locate the account via nr and email)

"thank you, ive gone ahead and placed the order"

all donezo. as i said, some can be awkward, youll get to learn most agents and whom
are the best.

RIGHT, OTHER SIDE NOTE:

SOME AGENTS THAT ARE NEW, WILL SAY "ORDER PLACED" make sure you check your email as
they said that and keep refreshing, if you havent got an order confirmation put in
chat "thank you so much can you please give me the order nr so i can write it down
as my email is annoying sometimnes and doesnt send stuff through" the reason for
this is, for them to give you a order nr they have to place the order, and some
agents like to do this at the end of the night, but sometimes they dont do it, so
they say they placed it but they havent, this happened many times to me, so if i
dont see the order confirmation, always ask for the order nr as that forces them to
order there and then.

also side note, the V11's have a "high torque motorhead" some agents dont know this
and send you the v10 ones which is the quick release purple motorheads rather than
the grey ones, if you got an order confirmation with a purple one rather than the
grey high torque, let them know they gave the wrong one
