INTRODUCTION

Melania Trump, Donald Trump's wife, took the stage on the first day of the Republican National

Convention. Her speech was welcomed with enthusiasm at first. Her keynote address, which

drew the convention to its feet, emphasized inclusivity, honesty, and hard work. The final round

of applause demonstrated that her message had struck a chord in the hearts and minds of

those in attendance. However, everything changed the next day. Melania Trump was accused

of plagiarizing Michelle Obama's remarks or speech in 2008. Several people were able to

determine and notice the similarities in Trump’s and Obama’s speeches to Democrats.
