Reflections of cultures- Architecture, literature, dance, drama, music, painting and what not!!!

What is Bangladeshi Art and Culture?

Painting: it is drawing a picture, it is of any size, shape, -- it can be bold, subtle, any sort of expression,

In painting- color is of paramount importance.

Prominent figures: ZainulAbedin, KamrulHasaan, S.M. Sultan. ZainulAbedin’s painting on famine of 1943
earned international fame. In present day Bangladesh, Qayyum Chowdhury and MurtazaBaseer deserve
mention.
Sculpture: carving (the removal of material) and modelling (the addition of material as clay) using stone,
metal, woods , clay and other materials.
