UI Critique

Think of something that you use regularly that works well. Be it a mobile
application, a website, a system, your email client, your phone texting
interface, or on Facebook. Think about interfaces you use all the time
effortlessly or the ones that you knew exactly what they did from the first
time you used them. On the other end, what interface from that application
that drives you crazy? Why does it seem to be a problem with the interface?
Your examples and your reasoning should be specific.

Focus on features of the user interfaces that makes your case. Any interface
can be studied: desktop, embedded, mobile, website, consumer appliances,
car dashboards, building entrances, traffic intersections, shower controls,
etc.

Part 1

 Describe the purpose of the overall applications/systems.

Facebook is a social media platform that has a site and an app where


users may connect and share content such as pictures, videos, and
other types of media. Users can communicate with one another by
leaving comments on one other's posts and sending messages.
Facebook's main goal is to let the users have a connection with other
people they know that far away from them and also to have a new
friend.

 Describe accessibility and inclusiveness aspect of the application or


system

Facebook is accessible for anyone as long as the user have a stable


internet connection and a device that capable for running the app or
website. It also contains variety of features that can be easily use for
any type of users, including a simple interface and easy navigation.
It can be customized as well in terms of UI it can be light mode or
dark mode. Facebook wants also the equal treatment for all users,
prevent hate speech and discrimination and promote a positive and
respectful community.

having to be online or without at the same time.
Public interaction: This interaction allow user to go public profiles,
pages and groups to view or share content with others.
Private interactions: This interaction is the sending of private
messages.
Crowdsourced Interaction: This interaction allows users to
collaborate with other users.
