the following rules further to amend the Legalldetrology (Packaged Commodities) Rule$,20 ir, namely!'-
1. (l) 'these rules may be called as the Legal Metrol~gy (F.aekagedCommodities) (Amendment) Rule~,2015.
(1). Save as otherwise provided in these niles, they shall come u,tofo(l;:e on tbeilate ofth~ir ptJ~HcationIn the
Official Gazette.
2. In the Legal Metrol~gy (Paclc.agC(j ConunodiHes) Ru(es; 2Qll (herl'Hnafter ~eferred to as tile said
rules), in rule 2.~
(i) for clauses (bb) and (be). the lollowing clauses shall be substituted, namely:-
'ebb) "induStrial consumer" means th", consumer will;) \)uys ~~~ged comrm:xi,itieS dit'ectly 1"

and the package shall have declaration 'not for retail sale'; ,

in the rules or regulations made under the Food -SafetY and Standards Act, 2(}06 (34 of 2006)<

5. In the s.sid rules, in rule 9, in sub-rule (3).,theprovis<> shall beomittecl
6. In the said rules., in rule 10. insub--rule (l),.in the Explanation. ·fur the words 'atwhichth~~tory'is
situated', ~h~words 'at which-the ~oropaIiy (lJ'ffflll is registeted' sludl be substitUted w.c.f~ tit J:IiJ1uary,2016.
