Subcircuits Design

To design a sub-circuit in OptiSPICE, go to File > New, a dialog box opens as

follows :

from this box select Device Symbol, then click OK. Now, here, we can
design the symbol of our component. In our case, we are designing the LASER
block.

To design this LASER block, select Rectangle from Tool Bar and make a
rectangle. After designing the shape, go to Pins and select your desired pins. Now
define the properties of pins. Double click on pin no. 1, define the pin name Vdd
and Function as input and then click OK as shown in the following figure
 Do the same procedure with other two pins. Now it's time to save your
symbol in a library, go to File > Save. Name your symbol (New-Laser in my case)
and select a library then click the Save button.

Now your part is added in Selected Library.

 Now it's time to attach the internal circuit with our symbol. Select your part
from the library and drag your symbol into schematic editor, double click on your
symbol

then click OK and draw the following circuit :

 Similarly design the electrical amplifier following the same procedure with
an internal circuit given below :
