Bible Story:

Once upon a time, a long long time ago, God created the whole world and everything
in it! He made the sky, the land, the animals, and even you and me!

On the first day, God said, "Let there be light," and there was light! And He saw that
it was good. He separated the light from the dark and called the light "day" and the
dark "night."

On the second day, God created the sky. He separated the waters above the sky from
the waters below it. And He saw that it was good.

On the third day, God made the land, the sea, and all the plants. He said, "Let the land
produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with
seed in it, according to their various kinds." And that's exactly what happened. God
saw that it was good.

And on the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars to give light to the
world. He said, "Let there be lights in the sky to separate the day from the night, and
let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years." And that's what
happened. God saw that it was

On the fifth day, God made all the animals of the sea and sky. He said, "Let the water
teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the
sky." And that's what happened. God saw that it was good.

Finally, on the sixth day, God made us, special and unique people to live in His
wonderful world. He said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so
that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock
and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." And
that's exactly what happened. God saw everything He had made, and it was very
good.

And that's how the world was created, just the way God wanted it to be! God made
everything with love, and He wants us to take care of His beautiful world and all the
creatures in it.
