Hobbies & Interests

As a hobby I build and repair computers, laptops and servers. I have worked on Socket 462, Socket 478, LGA
775, Socket AM2+, LGA 2011, Socket FM2+ and Socket AM4 based Desktops and Workstations. LGA 2011,
LGA 1366 and LGA 771 based Servers and Workstations. BGA1023, BGA400, BGA 413, rPGA988B and Socket
M Laptops. I have also been tinkering with ARM based Soc’s such as the S905X and S905X4.
I have built these machines in order to perform specific tasks that are requested by a client. An example is a
Xeon E5-1650 based machine for streaming, gaming and recording simultaneously for under £400. I am
often asked to build budget computers like this with specific workloads and requirements in mind. The
Most recent machine I have built is a £300 CAD design machine for use with a NAS.
I have also done some modifications to registries in windows 10 Enterprise (N) and Windows XP creating a
more efficient, secure, and robust operating system that is capable of being transported on a portable hard
drive. This allows any computer the hard drive is plugged into to have the data of the last computer it was
used on as well as allowing the OS to run on any compatible machine.
I have started studying for NSE4 and CompTIA Security Plus to help me advance my career. I believe that
spending a small time each week studying will help open opportunities for me allowing me to advance my
career. I have a keen interest in Cyber Security and IP Networks, and want to make this my career path
moving forward.
