Make Your Own Soccer Team
BuildLineup.com is an online formation creator app for soccer lovers. Create your own football
team with our squad builder. Share tactics with your friends and followers. Drag and drop feature
is also available for desktop or tablet devices. It is the most customizable football formation
designer available on the web.

How to Make Your Own Football Team?

Simply drag and drop players to create formations(drag and drop feature is not available on
mobile). Or choose a football formation template from the conDguration area which has all the
popular oEensive or defensive tactics like 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or diamond formation. To enter a
player name click Click to edit or choose Players tab and edit the Name column.

You will see a conDguration area with three options: Style

Style, Players
Players, and My Lineups
Lineups.

In Style section you can quickly customize and create your own soccer team jersey, formation and
Deld template. Currently there are four diEerent kit(including shirt or circle shaped) designs and
Dve football pitch templates.

To build a 5-a-side, a 6-a-side, a 7-a-side, a 8-a-side or a 9-a-side formation change "Player Count"
value. Any number between (and including) 1-11 can be chosen. Most of the time users go with
eleven-man football lineups. Wikipedia has a great page about formations. You could also check
out articles section of the site to learn more about defensive and oEensive formations.

You have an option to show player positions. As you drag and drop a player the position label will
automatically change. You can also turn this oE if you want plain jerseys without text. To read

Don't forget that there is no such thing as the best soccer formation. It depends on each game.
Sometimes you will feel like your team can dominate the game so you will pick an oEensive
strategy. And sometimes this tactic won't seem realistic as the team may not be powerful enough
to successfully apply attacking tactics.

Players section lists all the players on the Deld. It has three tabs: General
General, Icons and Subs
Subs.
Under the General tab name, jersey number and arrow can be edited for each player. To add
arrows click Players tab on the left side and choose the arrow you would like to attach to a player.
This is a good option for creating advanced soccer formations and to show the area a player
in]uences. It lets you use the builder as a tactics board and gives more idea about the player's
role.

With Icons section, you can add a yellow card, a red card, a double-yellow card and goal count as
icons to players.

Under the Subs section, you can add a sub name for each player to show who is their substitue is.

In order to use My Lineups section you need to be logged in. This area will save your lineups as
you create teams.Register here if you want to keep your lineups in one place. After you are signed
in, clicking "Save&Share" button will update this area.

If you would like get a shareable link, simply click Save & Share
Share. This will redirect you to a page
where you can share and discuss your tactics. Copy the link or choose a social media platform to
share your lineup.

How to Get the Soccer Lineup Image?

If you use Chrome or Firefox, the app also works as a graphic creator. By clicking "Download
Image" button you can download the lineup as a PNG image and use it anywhere. For the best
quality screenshots use your own device to get a native screenshot. On Windows you can use
Snipping Tool that comes with the operating system. On a Mac device press Command + Shift + 4
and select the formation area you would like to save.
