A TIME WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE

REJECTION:

Rejection is not easy to talk about especially when you experienced it. I don’t know about

anyone’s story of rejection but until I go to university, I’m not sure I really experienced any

true rejection. I was lucky that I have supportive family that pride me on doing my best

always. It wasn’t about winning or always being number one it was all about being best. Well

let’s move on to the topic. The first time when I was rejected by my favorite university I felt

like I would never be able to do anything in my life. I wanted to be a doctor since childhood

but despite my hard work I was rejected. When I was rejected I was very sad and was crying

a lot because I wanted to go the same university since childhood because it was in the top ten

universities of Karachi. But Alhamdullillah my parents always supported me and never left

me alone in any problem, they taught to me that never give up and keep working hard, one

day you will succeed. Whenever we are rejected we feel like we will never be able to do

anything in life and we are the losers but no that’s just the beginning to do something. When I

was rejected I also feel like that, I was depressed but I worked hard and now I’m studying in

Pakistan’s one of the best University, Iqra University. This is just the result of all my hard

work. But I realized that rejection is necessary because of that we learned lessons from this.

And I taught from my rejection is not to give up. Planning on your next move can be wise

choice rather than sitting back and giving up on your remaining chances to reply in other

courses or same course but different university. My parents told me that always remember

one rejection isn’t the end of your life there are always alternative ways to reach your goals,

just because you were rejected does not mean it has to happen again. These all lessons which
I taught fom my parents after rejection change my life. Facing rejection can be hard but we

should not lose hope.
