industrial visit. Firstly, I would like to extend a note of thank you to everyone
for becoming a part of this event and gracing it with their presence.

I, Aini Hidanah on behalf of my class want to sincerely acknowledge the efforts

of those who came forward and contributed towards the success of this event
and making it this grand. Trust me, all this wouldn’t have been possible without
the support of you guys.

I want to briefly introduce all of you about the course I am currently taking
which is Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is an area of study which intersects
biotechnology and computing science. It applies computer science and
information technology to processing of biological data. This is a field with
enormous possibilities in advancing medicine, agriculture and other biology-
related areas. This industrial visit is highly functional for us to hands on learn
about biotechnology. Biocon is a very promising company that creates Center of
Excellence (CoE) for insulins in Malaysia. The state-of-the-art insulins facility
in Johor is the first and only biopharmaceutical sterile injectables facility in
Malaysia to acquire approvals from the European Medicines Agency and the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

I hope this event can motivate students to study hard and be successful. Thank
you everyone for being a patient audience. It’s such a delight to be standing
